Picture this. You're a newspaper boy in the 1880's and your headlines just don't seem to be selling as well as they used to. Therefore, your company decides to change things up and start lying just a LITTLE bit.

...Well, at least of your definition of lying a LITTLE bit is completely changing the タイトル of your papers to something amusing and spreading misinformation just to rake in もっと見る cash from the public. And mine is!

So today, people. We're going to go dive headfirst into the world of clickbait. But first and foremost, the most important 質問 of them all.

What exactly IS clickbait?

Basically this.


It's filled with capital letters, bold text, exclamation marks, obvious lies, and is topped off not with a cherry, but an image that promotes false advertising most likely photo-shopped または edited in some way. Heck, if you've been on the internet for as little as two hours, then chances are, you've seen something like this before.

But for today, we're going to do something that's a tad out of the ordinary. Avant-garde, if あなた will. Yes, I have fallen to the clickbait Gods, and have decided to come up with my own silly edited "leaks", "rumors", and "reveal" 画像 for your amusement. Hell, clickbaity 画像 in general are the topic of today, and I'm going to be making as many as I find suitable for my palette.

*In other words, I'll be creating them depending on how long I can stay awake. If ファンポップ still has an image limit, then that's also a factor to take in.*

*Also is totally not inspired によって Alpharad in any way, shape, または form. But seriously though, although I did get the general idea from him, I will put as much of a twist on it as I can to make it my own. Alright? Good!*

And now, without further ado, let's kick this party into high gear! (Also, I'm coming up with these ideas completely randomly, so expect to see some weird flippin' stuff. XD)

I put a tad もっと見る stuff into it since we're not trying to fool anyone with this anyway. I mean, if あなた honestly think that Nyaruko-san will make it into Sm4sh because of this, then あなた probably aren't as smart as あなた think あなた are.

But regardless, since the goal of this wasn't to look like it came directly from the game, I added some cute stuff such as the Nature Border and the little ちび Nyaruko-san in the middle there. <3

This was a very subjective one, if anything. But God did I 愛 that anime, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love. If you're into funny harems, you'll 愛 it, but I digress. We're movin' on!

Man, I think of the weirdest shit....Seriously, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!? But again, I digress.

This one actually looks quite funny, to be honest. Let's go!







Throw it all into the witch's cauldron, patch some stuff together, and....There we go!



This one, like the others, was quite fun to make. Man, you'll be selling ALL the newspapers with this kind of entertaining (mis)information!

One last thing though. If someone walks up to you, is carrying a pitchfork and/or a torch, and has a look of "I want my money back" on their face, then あなた might wanna start running. But hey, that's the price あなた have to pay when あなた use clickbait!



Project Número Four: ULTRA-DANK SUPER MARIO BROS 2 SPEED-RUN!!!!! :O

If あなた don't know who Mario is, then I don't know what to tell ya. This one seems rather fun, as well as somewhat different due to it not falling under the Leaks, Rumors & Reveals categories. So, let's get to work!



To save myself from dying to Fanpop's image limit, I'm gonna cut the editing process short for this one. I just needed some PNG's, some MLG stuff, and a Hell of a lot of things that are indeed very dank. This image shall only be for the most hardcore of tryhards. Are あなた ready? I sure wasn't. XD

Oh, and a hot アニメ chick because why not. That's a staple of the Clickbait Art, at least if your gender qualifies as male. But anyway....

This concludes my very first Art Of Clickbait article! It's almost 4:00 in the morning as I write this, and I gotta say, this was one of the most fun 記事 I've ever made, and I am very proud of it, as utterly stupid as that may sound.

But here's the exciting part. I'm going to make this into a series that I'll make a new 記事 for every three weeks, always on a Friday. And I want あなた guys to コメント below on what あなた want me to make a clickbait image of! You'll not only get a shout-out in the article, but I'll create your request to the best of my ability. I'll start the 記事 off though, as I have some ideas as well, but yeah.
