I think that 妖精 are supposed to look もっと見る like miniature humans with large wings.Pixies are supposed to be smaller and their wings もっと見る like バタフライ, 蝶 wings.Fairies are suppoed to be もっと見る poised than pixies,whereas pixies are もっと見る mischievous.Somestimes people portray 妖精 looking like a bit of both 💚

Okay that makes sense! It's so hard to tell them apart to me, but I think I like 妖精 more. Don't want to deal with sassy pixies! lol
I always thought 妖精 were もっと見る elegant, graceful and calm and pixies were tiny, mischievous, rebellious and got into trouble and are kind of fussy and sometimes have mood swings. (Sounds like me, tbh *lol*)
Well, I've always thought that pixies are basically the size of mushrooms and have little elf ears & 妖精 are kinda just normal-sized humans with wings 🧚♀️✨
I've grown up watching Winx Club so my perception of 妖精 and pixies are probably pretty biased 🧚♀️✨
