Me and Bridgett were at lunch talking about trowing Gwen a surprised birthday party. But something felt unbalanced to me, it felt like something was missing. I looked around the cafetiere, and notice Duncan wasn't here today.

Becky and Tara turn from their lockers at the sound of my voice.

“Who?” Tara asks, her brow creasing.

“Duncan.”

Becky shakes her head slowly. “He’s not here. He hasn’t been all week, あなた know that.” She studies me curiously for a moment. “Why do あなた ask?”

when i got to the hospital the nurse told me how he was doing
