Booth made his way through the thick, damp undergrowth of the forest, looking for any trace of his son and partner. It was early morning, mist swirled around his feet and the wet trees brushed against him, chilling him to the bone, but he just had to find them. The lonely emptiness of the forest, unnerved him and his head was getting worse. But over all, he was rather proud that he managed to escape from the hospital without Angela, Hodgins または Cam spotting him. Even though the plan had its difficulties, like when he literally bumped into Zac, who nearly ruined his escape, it still worked. Besides, it was easy to threaten Zac’s life. But his pride faded away as he noted why he was trying to escape in the first place. His son and partner were gone, and he needed to find them before it was too late.
After hours of search, Booth came across small bit of torn fabric. It was tan, just like Parker’s jacket. Determination roared inside him, like a dying 火災, 火 being revived with fuel. Hours passed and he began to grow tired. Not knowing where he was going, he sat down and rested. All his limbs ached, and he had tones of scratches on him. It wasn’t long before he heard crashing behind him. His first thought was that the men were searching for him. He hid behind a bush. Every 秒 felt like an 時 as the sound drew nearer. Parker held his breath and closed his eyes, trying to make no sound. Suddenly a man ran into the clearing. He was panting hard, as if he’d been running. When Parker moved a leaf to see who it was, delight overtook him. Booth was standing in the clearing, looking at the ground for the trail that had just disappeared. Parker leap out of hiding and ran towards him. Shock, then relief took over Booth’s face. Parker hugged him hard. It didn’t take long for the parent side of Booth to take over.
“Parker, are あなた hurt?” he asked franticly.
“No.”
For a moment, Booth felt relief. Then he realized Parker was alone.
Booth’s world stopped. He could only hear and feel his ハート, 心 beating. He looked around desperately, hoping that he just hadn’t seen Brennan and she was standing right behind him.
He turned back to Parker, looked him in the eyes and said,
“Where is Bones?”
Parkers eyes brimmed with tears as he explained how she had saved him.
Booth had no idea what to do. His partner was being held captive. His partner! No one does that and gets away with it.
“Look Parker, I need あなた to do me a favour, okay?” when Parker nodded, he continued. “I’m need to rescue Bones, okay, but I can’t risk あなた again. あなた need to do what BONES（ボーンズ）-骨は語る- told あなた to. So find the road.” He handed Parker a phone, “and when あなた get there, call 911 and get the police to help you.”
A determined look settled on parkers face. He nodded.
“But before あなた go, where’s the warehouse?”
Parker explained it was near a river.
“Okay, Now the roads in that direction. Be careful.”
“I will.” He wrapped his little arms around his dad, once more, and then ran off in the direction Booth had told him. When he was out of sight, Booth walked till he found the river, he then followed it. Hours past and it got cold again. Then he saw it. It was at least 3 stories high, but still very unnoticeable. It was covered in vines and surrounded によって trees. It looked deserted, but Booth wasn’t sure. He sat for a while and looked for a way in. And when he found one, he made his plan.
