Both annoy me but with the other one, that's pretty common in Hollywood so I'm kind of used to it, even if it still annoys me. With the other one, I hate when someone who is such an amazing talent not get the recognition they truly deserve while others that are undeserving get so much attention. It just really irritates me that someone who deserves far more attention they truly and genuinely should have because of the amazing gift they possess, especially if it's in favor of someone who isn't talented at all.

Mostly because what makes a person talented is subjective. I don't like fifth harmony but they have fans for a reason. I'm happy for anyone who can make it big if they're a nice person. It just annoys me when I find a band with so much talent but no one knows them so they don't get the funding to really take off and there's no one to discuss them with.

^That and its really not a bother to me tbh. For most cases, talent to one person might not resonate with the next as much. If they are famous and get praise, its probably cos they are talented in a large amount of peoples eyes in some form, or they have other traits like good charisma or other looks or something. I will be sad if ones I think are talented dont go far, but its not like Im going to get upset cause my opinion isnt the majority.

Both are annoying but yeah, nowadays peoples cares too much with anyone with a lot of scandals and sensations, useless actions to get attention from publics (Kardashian family and Lil Tay are the example of this)
Though I disagree when you use a Zendaya image as the example of "untalented people". She has beautiful voice imo.

@Blind Very true lol. Especially in regards to someone bring untalented. I have less of a problem with people wanting someone they like to get more recognition because that at least promotes positivity.

Both can be bad e.g. all those 'online influencers' who are spreading more hate and lies for drama than actually inspiring people for better are so freaking popular, but imo many of them shouldn`t be, because they have very young audience who are easily manipulated. Like, not even need to think about bad actors or musicians who can`t sing for their life without autotune. Take Paul brothers for example. I don`t think anybody under 13+ even should be able to watch their videos.
But at the same time there are many great talents and good hearted, inspirational people out there who don`t get even half of the recognition they deserve. I don`t know which one annoys me more.

@Sparklefairy375 I have to disagree about her voice being beautiful. Her voice was good in The Greatest Showman but that was thanks to a lot of highly noticeable overly-produced autotune. But outside of that movie her voice is mediocre at best. Her voice is weak with a limited range, has poor breath support, has diction problems, sings wild with every other lyric, and sounds like an average high school or middle school girl trying to sing like either Alicia Keys or Aaliyah and FAILING at it (Which makes her always look like she's in pain because of how those two singers are FAR out of her league). But you're allowed to have an opinion. Mine is just that she has no talent outside of being a fantastic dancer.

I feel some of the best actors of all time are underrated. For example mainstream audiences don't know Kevin Conroy (Batman's voice actor), Tara Strong (the best voice actress), and Mako (one of the best actors ever).

Anyway I hate this kind of stuff more because it lowers the standard of what is considered "good" overall. Seeing that a little bit with the film industry right now- lots of mediocre remakes and sequels because people keep going to see them.
Not that it's wrong to like those things ofc but there isn't a whole lot of incentive to make new stuff with a lot of passion and hard work in them and the industry on the whole is suffering from it.
And don't yell at me saying "BUT 8 THERE'S LOTS OF NEW INTERESTING STUFF I JUST SAW THIS ONE MOVIE THE OTHER DAY" of course it's out there. Duh. But it isn't the norm and it isn't what the standard in the industry currently is.

However, you’ll see these lazy, untalented “rappers” (Lil Pump, etc.) getting adorned for literally just mumbling. I don’t care if people enjoy mumble rap, it just irks me a little bit. ★
