Not the best princess film, but I enjoy it. Misleading trailer and contrived plot as well as a bit predictable, but has some great moments nonetheless. Watching it, I still get surprised that its Pixar because it feels like a WDAS film to me.

I've only seen it once so I definitely need to watch it again. My favorite scene is when she stands before everyone, removes her hoodie and declares "I am Merida" then she shoots the arrows for her own hand in marriage basically. I got chills the first time I saw that.

I dont know why I have article fever right now, but maybe at the end of the month you can put together a real quick article of these questions with user comments and pics and such. Would be a great way to end the POTM. What do you think?

The plot could be more engaging but I love the general atmosphere of the movie, the animation is beautiful and I find the soundtrack relaxing. Each time I watch it it grows on me, but it's definitely not something I could watch often. Basically not one of Pixar's best, but certainly not their worst.

I love the animation and the character of Elinor. Dislike the cliche story and Merida's personality.

It's okay. Similar to Adelital, I like Elinor. Elinor to me is the true heroine of the film, because she actually changes her mind about everything. Merida just gets off the hook in my opinion. I dislike Merida's personality, and the way she dealt with facing grown up responsibility.

It's mediocre at best, boarding on okay. It's really flawed, rushed, cliche, cluttered, clunky, poorly developed, and such a waste. I'm also bitter about the false advertising for the movie that was promoting it as a badass and grand epic adventure about a young woman that has to save her kingdom from a dark curse that happened because of her selfishness. Instead, we got a rehash of Brother Bear.

Not a bad movie actually, if I don't count Merida, then it's very enjoyable. Fergus and the twins are pretty entertaining ^^

I once liked it, but it's kind of a snooze to me now.

It's so average and mediocre. It's nothing but a rehash of Brother Bear (which is a FAR superior film).

I don't mind watching it occasionally, but it could have been a lot better in terms of plot.
