Though...we do vary...like a lot...in fact, for us...we can be both demons and gods at the same time to very different people. 1 of my friends from Japan is worshiped as a god by those whom fish from his river, but feared as an angry oni by those who suffer his flooding...

gods and demons are not so different where I am from...in fact, the only difference is whether you are worshiped or feared...gods can fall to demon status as easily as a demon may become a god. they are often the same depending on whom you ask.
