Fifteen 分 later, a seventeen 年 old girl walked into the kitchen, wear a short sleeve t-shirt, hoodie, blue jeans, a pair of Converse, and a baseball hat that was on backwards.

"I've been up since six. You're the one who makes us late," the teenager stated. "If あなた hadn't divoriced Dad, I wouldn't always be late."

"Don't mention you're father," Mom said. "I really wish あなた would dress もっと見る neatly, Allie."

"Whatever," Allie muttered as she picked up the keys to the car. "I'm driving."

"You don't have a license," Mom argued.

"I have my permit," Allie stated as she headed to the front door. "Besides I need to go to the としょうかん, ライブラリ before homeroom. I'll get us there faster, since I don't drive fifteen miles an hour."

Allie sat in the library, 読書 a book on multi-verse theory during her free period.

"Why do あなた bother researching that stuff," a girl 発言しました as she sat across from Allie. "We both know it's not real."

"I'm just curious, Nikki The same way あなた are about ヴァンパイア and ghost," Allie explained not looking up from the book.

"How did we become best フレンズ again," Nikki joked.

"We're both crazy and that fifth grader from when we were in 秒 grade," Allie stated.

Allie Jonas was sitting in bedroom while working on a thesis paper for what she read in the library, doing what homework she had wondering what her life might be like if her father hadn't done the things he did, when all of a sudden she was blinded によって a bright white light.

When the light faded in front of her was a man with wings.

"Wh-who are you," Allie asked still in shock.

"I am your guardian angel, Allison," the エンジェル replied.

"What are あなた doing here," Allie asked.

"To give あなた a 秒 chance," the エンジェル replied.

"Why," Allie asked.

"Look around you," the エンジェル said. "What do あなた see?"

Allie looked around her room and said, "I see a mess."

"Correct. Is this really how あなた want to live the rest of your life," the エンジェル asked.

"No," Allie stated.

"Don't just dream of what it would be like to have the perfect family, anymore," the エンジェル said. "Live it."

Just then Allie felt the room spinning all around her. She then fell on her back and closed her eyes.

Allie woke up to the sound of of a familiar voice she hadn't heard in years

"Come on Allie," the man called from somewhere in the house. "It's time for school."

Allie sat up groggily and climb down the ladder of her bunk bed.

She then went about her normal routine, got dressed for school, brushed her hair, got her backpack, and headed downstairs for breakfast.

As soon as she entered the kitchen, she got the strangest feeling of deja vu, but how could she know what that was, she was only six years old.

"Morning sleepy-head," Dad 発言しました with a smile as he walked toward her.

Instinctively she back up for some reason. She wasn't sure why she, but she just did.

Dad looked at her curiously and said, "What's wrong, sweetie?"

"Nothing Daddy," Allie replied, giving her father a hug.

"Did あなた sleep okay," Dad asked concerned.

"Yes," Allie answered, as she sat down at the table. "What's for breakfast?"

"Chocolate chip pancakes," Dad 発言しました placing a plate of パンケーキ in front her.

Allie was sitting in on a front porch when a familiar face appeared in front of her.

"What's going on," Allie asked, looking up at the man.

"Your 秒 chance," the man replied. "This is your chance to turn things around for yourself and family. あなた have knowledge of the future and knowledge way beyond any six 年 old has ever had, but use it wisely and only when needed."

"Why do I get 秒 chance," Allie asked.

"You've earned it. あなた spent your whole life miserable, but remained good and pure. Now あなた have a chance to live the life you've always dreamed of having," the man explained. "Remember to use your knowledge very wisely and do good with it."

"What if something happens that I don't know," Allie asked.

"You will think of it as a learning experience," the man stated.

Allie woke up and knew exactly what need to be done that today. She hurriedly got ready for school and went downstairs. She greeted her mother, father and older brother with a smile on her face.

At school she knew when her teacher would take them down to the library, she knew what book she was going to get and everything.

But instead of getting the book she was supposed to get, she checked out three chapter books.

When it came time for silent 読書 in class, Allie read one of the chapter 本 from begining to end.

"Now class I want あなた to write a paragraph on what あなた read," the teacher 発言しました as she stood in front of the class. "Who here remembers the number of sentences that is in a usual paragraph?"

Allie raised her hand and waited to be called on.

"Allie," the teacher said, pointing at her.

Allie stood up and said, "A paragraph has four to five sentences in it, Ms. Blough."

"That's correct, Allie," Ms. Blough stated. "Thank you."

Allie sat down, then set to work 書く about what she read, but instead of one paragraph, she wrote two.

When Ms. Blough came to collect the class' papers, she looked at Allie's and said, "I am very impressed, あなた went above and beyond what I asked."

Allie just smiled with pride.

This is going to be fun, Allie thought to herself.

And time spent hiding from the world

And memories that become tarnished

From helping raise four younger siblings
And growing up too fast
To begging my friend not to die

From my tears, joy, and fears
To finding the Father who always loved me
