I need to stop and catch my breath but I can't.

I have to keep running even if I die trying. I wouldn't let them win; couldn't let them win. They're getting closer now.

Have あなた ever had those dreams where あなた feel like you're running at the speed of light but you're hardly moving? That's how I feel now. No matter how hard I try, it's like no effort is made. Not like my nightgown was helping.

I keep running, not even knowing what's chasing me. All I know is, they're hungry for flesh and blood; my flesh and blood. I don't know why. I don't know how this happened. I don't even know where I am; all I see are trees and もっと見る trees.

I hop over large logs and アヒル, 鴨 over high ones as I try もっと見る and もっと見る to escape. I hear them shouting; they sound like they're half man, half undead. I turn around for a quick view; sure enough. They had every normal human feature except for their glassy mutant-colored eyes and the blood around their mouths.

I can't catch my breath.

I keep running, hoping that there would be an escape. Hoping somebody would come and save me. Hoping that the creatures would disappear. Hoping I would disappear, at least somewhere I'd be safe.

Then I see it; a light in these dark woods. I run until I have to immediately stop. I look down over a death-promising sea. I turn around to see that they're still coming.

"Finn!" I hear a voice from the bottom of the cliff.

"Mona?" I call out, "Is that you?"

"Finn! Finn!" She calls. It is Mona.

"I'm coming, Mona!" I call, taking one last look at the creatures, and then plunge off the cliff into the sea below.

"Finn!" I'm shaken until my eyes open.

The water, the cliff, the woods, the creatures; they have all disappeared now. All that's left is my bedroom and Mona, my best friend, peering at me from the foot of my bed.
