When I woke up, sunlight streamed down through the window and Jacob was snoring in the corner.

I got up, and headed for the bathroom.

When I was done with the unpleasant business, Jacob was standing behind me, concern written all over his face.

"Renesmee?" he asked. "What happened?"

"Go. Look. In. The. Fridge," I hissed.

Confusedly, he looked. He walked out the back door and came back ten 分 later, in which I'd taken the opportunity to brush my teeth.

I rested my forehead against the cool glass of the mirror. Blood. Ew. The thought brought on another wave of nausea, and I tried to think of something else. Anything else.
