I hear my alarm clock buzzing and I roll over to shut it off. I look at the time; 7:30. Now why the hell would I set my alarm for that time in the summer? Oh wait. TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND STARTS TODAY! I spring out of ベッド and find my clothes for today. I slip on my black and white colored, tank 上, ページのトップへ and slip my sandy colored カーディガン over it, unbuttoned. I put on jean shorts with a brown ベルト and find my お気に入り hat; my floppy sand-colored fedora with a black strip around it.
I skip to the bathroom and get ready. I put on my makeup (only some mascara, eye liner, and lip gloss), finding the Colors（色） that go with my sea-blue eyes, brush my mid-shoulder blade length strawberry-blonde hair, and brush my teeth. I look at my hair again, how wild it always looks. I guess I’ll keep it today like this.
I slip on my sandals and put on my fedora. I find my backpack and put my iPod, a few 読書 books, a notebook, pencils, and other small things to do in it. I bring my backpack and duffle bag down stairs and walk into the キッチン for cereal. I see the time; 7:52. This is a new record for me.
I pour myself a bowl of Lucky Charms and ミルク and eat it as my parents walk into the kitchen, already dressed.
“Well, today’s the big day, Sport,” My dad smiles at me and I nod.
“I hope we won’t be late,” I’m a little worried.
“It only takes a half 時 to get there, but we should be on the road soon. Go on and say goodbye to Dallas and Emma while we put your stuff in the car,” my Mom tells me.
I nods and walk upstairs to Emma’s room, first. I キッス her on the head gently and whisper, “Bye, Emmi-Bear. I 愛 you.”
She mumbles something that sounds like “Love あなた too.”
I walk out of her room, quietly walk into Dallas’ room and almost shout; “BYE BONE HEAD,” Then I tackle him for a hug.
“Die,” He mumbles, but hugs me back and I get up and run off, giggling.
“LET’S GO PEOPLE, TIME IS A-WASTING,” I giggle with excitement as I hop into the back seat.
“Calm down, Maze,” Mom tells me and I sigh.
“Bye house,” I whisper as my dad pulls out of the driveway.
I’m a little tired so I close my eyes and listen to the songs of the radio. Funny, I can’t hear them anymore. Now I can as I open my eyes again. I must have fallen asleep, because we’re here!!! I see a group of teens waiting at a ボート dock, which has a sign that says “TDI CONTESTANTS; WAIT HERE TO BOARD ONE AT A TIME.”
“Well,” I sigh after we get out, wearing my backpack around me and my duffle bag in hand, “I guess I’ll wait there to go. I’ll see あなた guys soon. 愛 あなた guys.”
“We 愛 あなた too,” Mom says as I hug them both.
“Be safe,” Dad says as they climb into the car and I nod. I wave as they drive away and I walk over to the other teens. I stand 次 to a small pale blonde girl wearing a green sweater-thing.
“Hey,” I smile, trying to make conversation, “I’m Maisy.”
“I’m Dawn,” She says, “It must be hard being the only child in your family with an accent.”
“Wh-Wha?” I stutter, stunned, “How do あなた know that?”
“Your soul is so easy to read. あなた feel so different from your siblings.”
“Is Freak-Girl at it again?” A taller guy with piercings, a green Mohawk, and a skull シャツ walks over to us, “Hey, I’m Duncan,” He smirks at me, and then wiggles his eyebrows.
“And I’m not interested,” I roll my eyes as the first ボート comes, then quickly leaves with a camper on board.

“Just dandy,” I’m slightly annoyed of the nickname, and I walk over to the other campers.

I gape at a short, slim girl with イチゴ blonde hair wearing a fedora, who’s talking to a tall, African American, guy. I see her gorgeous blues moving around and finally, they meet mine. I smile to be friendly, fighting everything to not blush and she smiles back.
“Cody!” Chis interrupts the moment, “Welcome!”
“Happy to be here,” I smile, and I walk onto the dock with my bag.
“Well, that’s all of you,” Chris addresses the whole group, “I’m Chris McClean, your fabulous host! Welcome to beautiful Lake Wawanakwa! First challenge starts now. You’ve all heard of my buddy Chef? Well, he’s around the island hunting for something; you. Your job is to run around the island and avoid being shot によって his paintball gun.
