So the 次 day, after meeting Courtney, I bump into Bridgette after school.

"Gwen, right", asked Bridgette.

"Hi, what's up?"

"You're welcome." He went and sat across from me.

A petite, blonde waitress came up to our table. "Welcome to the Java Hut! What would あなた like to have?"

"I'll have a small coffee with two creams and one sugar", I said.

"It's okay." I started looking for a partying dress to wear.

Courtney grabbed a book from under her 枕 and started reading.

"You bailed on me?!"

"Ugh!" I hung up.

"Everything okay", Courtney asked.

"No. Bridgette bailed on me."

"Oh. I'm sorry."

I hugged back. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." She smiled. "We can finally get to know each other now."

"Well, I don't know."

"Come on, please?"

"Okay, okay." I smiled. "My mom is so...like a mom. She always calls me her little girl and acts like I'm still a child."

"OMG! My mom does that too!" We both laugh. "Do あなた have any siblings?"

"Had?"
