Now, that's obvious! Every episode has side story which is related to the main story. Winx Club is getting boring. I'd prefer downloading sailor moon season 2 then winx club season 6.

I don't really watch Sailor Moon. I tried watching it, but I lost interest after three episodes.

I've only seen a couple clips from SM but I watched a Nostalgia Critic review over the show, and I got everything that I needed.

The show isn't that much deeper than Winx, really. Every episode has the same formula: the scouts find an enemy, they go after that enemy, Serena gets her butt handed to her, and her friends go to save her--with that added Tuxedo Mask hubbub, which is just painfully tedious.

Although some of the characters look cool, and I appreciate the LGBT awareness with Neptune and Uranus in the original Japanese dub, I still kinda just 'meh' when I see the show. Plus I can't get over how the girls are all only fourteen years old. Yeah.

I love both just that sailor moon has more sidestories

I agree with lovebaltor. The plots in sailor moon are so bland and lifeless that people can easily confuse it as filler which I did a couple of time and compare that to Winx club 's one plot and build up for the characters unique ways of dealing with the problem and developing from it. I think I can confidently say that SM is boring compared to Winx club.

I love Sailor Moon and I love the plot of the pilot episode but Winx (minus the last two seasons) also have good plots. If they didn't then I wouldn't have watched them.

I am a very avid SM fan, I've watched it since I was a child. That in mind I'm with lovebaltor; much like Winx, Sailor Moon follows a very basic formula in every episode. There's always (in season 1) a scene in the beginning that shows unsuspecting normal people getting attacked by one of the villains. Eventually the Sailor Scouts find out and go to help, there's always a transformation sequence. And then eventually the Sailor Scouts wins. Winx is sort of the same way but honestly the sequence isn't as similar--it doesn't always start with someone under attack.

If anything Winx has more of a plot. But as I said, I do like both shows a lot.

I liked season one of SM but serenity's kid Time traveling back in time ruined a whole season for me.To me that whole season was very awkward.

I don't even watch Sailor Moon but since Winx is the best show EVER (minus season 6) I will go with this.

I am sorry if I am offending the fans of Winx Club but I think that Winx Club sucks compared to Sailor Moon.Sailor Moon is in every aspect better than Winx Club.The plot is better,the characters are better,the villains are better(and they have a background story unlike the villains from Winx Club),the animation is better and the music is also better.To the people saying that Winx Club is better than Sailor Moon:It would be important for you to know that without Sailor Moon there would be no Winx Club because Winx Club has heavily inspired by Sailor Moon.The cultural impact of Sailor Moon can also not be denied.It is true that they were many magical girl animes before Sailor Moon but Sailor Moon was the first one that got huge fame all around the world and it was the anime that set the standards for every other magical girl anime.Almost every magical girl manga/anime/comic/show that came after Sailor Moon was inspired by Sailor Moon.Sailor Moon still remains after more than 20 years as one of the best in the magical girl genre(topped only by Magic Knight Rayearth and Pretear).

Yeah, seriously, the creator of Winx really needs to fix this lol.

It should be the other way around: One episode of Winx Club has more plot than one season of Sailor Moon.
