Everybody loved it including the media and the kiss scene already made it #1 on EW's hottest scenes, not to mention the 80k views on YT after only 22 hours and the FIVE WWTT's on Twitter. Believe or not, Elena isn't a piece of property. Stefan doesn't [i]own[/i] her (SHOCKING, I KNOW!) She's single and can do whatever the hell she wants. She can slut it up in a house full of sorority boys if she wanted. Know why? Cause she's doing nothing wrong. She wasn't cheating, she was being a normal girl. And you know that ship you call SE? Yeah, well it has more then Stefan in it, that 'E' part is named ELENA, and she has a say in all of this. PS. For the record, I never thought it'd 'always be Stefan', and neither did the majority. If you can't read the signs in TVD then you're watching it wrong.

It's not Elenas'Daries but Vampire Diaries !! And when a plot is finally introduce it's always the same thing : Elena is in danger, Damon or Stefan has to kill someone or find something, Caroline is doing eyesex with a guy, and Bonnie the witch does a spell and everyone is happy. The whole season 3 is disappointing for a lot of people. sahour95 OK, First of all, I am an SE fan, a huge one to the point that I'd rather Elena would die than end up with Damon. But lets be fair, I am leaving my SE suit for a while, and try to be as objective as possible. 3X19 wasn't one of my fav episodes in this season, but it wasn't of DE's kisses or whatever, I just thought that there were a lot episodes better. If anything I thought that the DE kiss and scenes were really good written, and I could actually enjoy them if I wasn't such a hardcore SE fan. And lets just look at it this way. Before Elena can make an ultimate choice towards the two brothers, and that won't be till the very end of the series, she HAS to get together with Damon. I see it as not only the expected, but also the inevitable happening, and lets face it, fans waited long enough. Now I am not head over heels in love with Elena now, but how I see it I am more blaming Damon than Elena, because HE'S YOUR FREAKING [b][i][u]BROTHER[/b][/u][/i] for crying out loud. So yes Elena didn't cheat on Stefan, but Damon did. From the moment he put in his mind that he wanted Elena. But that doesn't mean I am totally letting Elena off the hook, either. And BTW, just because the majority says something that doesn't mean I or the writers should go with the majority. No offense to anyone OF COURSE For what is said above me, this season is the best, so far, for me. There's just too much emotions, too much interesting and thrilling stories. The Originals continue to be a great addition to the series and with each episode's end I just wanna watch the next. The actors are soo BRILLIANT this season. And TVD was NEVER about those little problems, because there's always too much going on. And when the time comes I'm pretty sure the writers WILL deal with those things. I hope no one takes this personally or think that I am offending them. JUST MY OPINION

Contingent You know, I'm tired because I feel like if you want your character to have screen time in this show he must be in a triangle. This characters are not deep enough and it seems like the writers fail at showing the deepness of their characters : Klaus had to draw poney so that we can understand he's not that bad. And I thought it was ridiculous. That's why I want this little slice of life to be present, and all this story about triangle should be considered as slices of life too. All this triangle should be less present. I know it's a show for teenage girl and this girls would have love been chasing by two guys. It's a way for them to identify to the characters. And the fact that the writers just go on their way just shows how they don't try to find a new way for us to identify with this ladies. That's why I'm not shocked when I saw how many fans hate Bonnie : that's just because she's not involved in a triangle, so she is not desirable, so she's not interesting. The same thing goes with men if we haven't see you at least half-naked or if you're not attracted then you can be sure nobody will care about you. I'm so upset that the writers think that because we are teenagers we are not able to be interressed by a story which does'nt involve triangles. It's like they have a few things to tell and it's almost empty so they add three or four triangle's stories to fill the gap.

sahour95 That I will have to disagree with. Each character is unique. I think the characters are very well-written and very consistent. About the Klaus thingy, I knew that he wasn't that bad long before he drew that pony or was interested in Caroline. I saw his humanity ever since 3X2 and then 3X3 and 3X5 and it just goes on and on. We saw it the moment he undaggered Rebekah. And to tell you the truth i never saw Klaus having interest in someone, I wanted it because I thought it would be interesting to see him falling for someone, and get to explore that side of him. I do think that Bonnie gets way TOO much hate, and I do think it's the writers fault, they dont give her enough storyline to connect with her and she's always there just to do a little spell. I finally thought they were going to give her something with er mother, then BAM! Caroline is in the episode way more than Bonnie, she gave that speech and we didn't get to see Bonnie getting emotional with her mother. And then she left! And to be honest, it's what the fans want! Don't you see it? Whenever a new character is presented they ship them with someone! Even sheriff Forbes!!!!!!!! And well, publicity sucks sometimes!! But to tell you the truth the attractive aspect wears off after a time and if the character is good you'll keep loving the character if not, you'll just hate him\her. Or at least that's for me

This show is about a love triangle, where Elena cares for both brothers. She needed to resolve her feelings for Damon and even Stefan suggested it. For calling Elena a bitch is so wrong. I don't Hear people calling Caroline a bitch when she hopedy hop on three guys already. If you want to see a jealousy triangle just stay focused on Ty/Klaus/care Because klaus will not ever get her, stated by Candice and its going to be something if your rooting for Tyler, you'll never be disappointed with the stalling and the arguments they go through.

Contingent That's true sahour95 I was always shipping Bonnie with everyone before. But I'm not 16 anymore and I think that's the big problem LOL Now I'm a fan of other show like Dexter which is like perfection in my mind. So perhaps I want The Vampire Diaries to become more like Dexter. But it's obvious it will never happen cause that's not the same audiance at all !! Perhaps was I reading to much fanfiction, and that's why I feel like characters are not deep anymore, because it's a show and informations have to be given quickly and it's part of my anger against this triangle which take to much screen time and seems to evoluate very slowy.

sahour95 I know what you mean. But I hardly look fr something meaningful in TVD, if I want something deep, I watch Grey's Anatomy or Lost!! Fanfiction is hardly a relaible source for the characters' depth. Don't get me wrong I enjoy reading it to anyone, but lets face it,fans write what they want to happen there no matter how out of the blue it seems. Even I do that!! And because it is a triangle it goes slowly. Anything that has to do with emotions, and when complicated like this must be a slow burn, so it wouldn't feel odd. Three seasons is hardly any time. It topk Kate from LOST six seasons to decide.

kathyism Stop being biased, Stelena has been going on for about 2 1/2 seasons, and it's a Love Triangle, so we can't have a LOVE TRIANGLE if elena and stefan have all the fun whereas Damon sit quietly. ggdelena i wasn't mad at elena. 1. she and stefan aren't together. 2. she is 18 yr old you can't expect her not to explore her feelings for damon or someone else. isn't it better she explore these feelings instead of always wondering what it could been. in the episode stefan said he wanted elena to explore her feelings for damon.

Clearly not judging by the responses above, all this article is doing is starting shipping wars. I know you are upset and I would be too if I was a SE fan (which I'm clearly not) but the story must go on & she can't stay with Stefan forever.

If you don't respect Elena then you shouldn't be shipping SE to begin with, as you are obviously only shipping her as a sort of prize for Stefan. That's not how shipping works. If you only love half of your OTP then you're doing it wrong.

HaleyDewit Elena has every right to kiss whoever she wants. Like SpuffyDelena says, Stefan doesn't own her. Elena did everything she could to save Stefan and bring him back, but there's only so much an 18 year old girl can do and Stefan made it clear he didn't want to go back. Then when the compulsion was over and Klaus let him go, he left town. If he loves Elena so much why didn't he stay and fight for her? She would've given him a second chance, because that's who she is. Then he threatened to kill her on the same spot her parents died. And now Elena is the bitch because she kissed a guy who's been there for her while Stefan was feeling sorry for himself? And Damon didn't betray Stefan either. He didn't make a move until 3x10 and Stefan had left by then. Elena has been single since then. You need to stop blaming Damon and/or Elena everytime there's a bump in the road for Stelena. Because Stefan is just as guilty. He's a vampire, not a saint.
