I assume you're talking about L&O:CI. I don't know Goren and Eames make the 表示する but it could still be good without them. I would say give it a few episodes without them and if you're not impressed then quit watching. Hope I helped.

I think that if あなた like the 表示する the characters shouldn't matter that much. I mean if あなた like the idea of the show, the way it is written, the way it is filmed then あなた should watch it. If あなた are just a ファン of the characters and not the actual 表示する and the relationship that the characters have with each other then あなた should quit watching it. I know that 表示する is very character based and the relationship between those characters if very important, but if the creators are talented they should be able to give あなた new characters that will stand out and suit the show.

dont worry about what other people say about the show. if u wanna watch it u can. u have free will dont u? i felt the same thing once and then i got my フレンズ to watch it and they got hooked with the new characters.
