Vulc stood in the court of the Old One, listening to his two halves argue.
Today was scheduled to be his trial for forcing the valcanoes to erupt on the mortals, but if he was lucky, the Old One would tire of debating with hisself and declare him innocent (wrongly, of course).
"I tire of this debate," 発言しました the Old One. "Begone from my prescence."
Vulc was rather lucky.

Upon returning to his castle, Vulc heard news from his sister.
"Are あなた sure Sister? Mother 発言しました it herself?"
It was rather odd. Vulc was one of the Four. For there to be a fifth?
Heresey. Pure heresey.
"Mother did say so...
Vulc, I fear for her"
Vulc flinched momentarily. The four were never supposed to call each other again によって their names.
"Mother is no fool, Sister. She will come to her senses."
Vulc only hoped he was correct.
If the Old One were to hear of Mother's rambilings.... it was to bleak for Vulc to imagine.
"Goodbye, V-... Brother", 発言しました the Sister as she left.
Vulc was laid to rest in his ベッド just as he heard the voice in his conciousness.
'Hello, Brother', 発言しました the voice. 'I'm glad you're ready for me'
Vulc fought the voice off, finally gaining sleep, though a restless one.
