Are Cartoonaboos a thing...??? Cos the term weeaboos is a poor obsession with Japanese culture / wanna be Japanese usually due to anime and crap. Likewise with Koreaboos and KDramas / KPop and all. I dunno exactly how a weeaboo would compare with a "cartoonaboo"

Cartoonaboo"is basically a term used to describe people who base their entire life around cartoons much like weeaboos base their entire life around anime.So yeah they're basically like weeaboos minus the whole obsessing over a foreign country thing.Although the fact that they always like to diss anime and claim that it can never be equal to Western animation makes them obsessed with portraying the West to be superior to everything so they aren't much different even when it comes to the whole "obsessed with one country or continent"thing.

Honestly I love and respect both these groups cause I just really love animation.

Well, I'm also a person who grew up with both anime and cartoons, and I just can't believe that "cartoonaboos" actually existed which it makes me think if they just only praise American cartoons and not European cartoons or other cartoons from the other continents since when most people are talking about cartoons, they meant the ones from the USA, but I just happened to enjoy European and Australian cartoons more than American ones, but I do still like American cartoons though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As long they're not hurting anyone else, I really couldn't care to be honest what they do
