I know this probably isn't true but, is sympathy the only part of Azula's character? I haven't watched the show yet. But, What I heard about her so far is that the show seems to be adding too much sympathy on her character. Not that it is a bad thing I am betting it justify her actions and makes her more 4D as a character. It also can make her less relate-able to most people through. Cause their's too many problems in her life to not make her kill herself. It is also impossible to have no one to even like you or spend time with you. You can be the meanest or wickedest person and I'll bet you their is someone who likes you. It's something no one has to deal with but this factional character. It also seems impossible to relate to someone having no control over their mind. Which if you put in scientific form the mind controls you, You don't control it. So that doesn't make much sense and seemed like it already happened. But this is an anime so I guess it probably doesn't apply here. But still unless someone who has a power to control your mind I don't see how you can relate to that. Her character seems to have some problems to being relate-able. But I probably shouldn't try to judge her character yet until I see a lot more of her character. So far I'm natural to her. I know how popular she's so I'm guessing if a watched the show she would be relate-able. So...Yeah I'm going to watch the show sooner or later...so...um...bye.

@PeacefulCritic Since you haven't seen the show yet, all I can say is watch the entire show and judge for yourself.

Sympathy is not the only part of her character trust me she's got a lot more going on. But like Katara said, you'd have to watch the show.

But I think both are insanely sad. I've always felt bad for her.

To add to my first comment; the reason I picked this one is because odds are if you don't have anyone who loved you odds are it's going to lead to the mental snap. And there is no support system. In the case of Azula in particular, when she lost it she had no one who loved her enough to help her.
