Personally, I think the first one is worse. I've been through both. And in the end, it always hurts more to have fake friends who pretended to like you all this while. At least with those who don't pretend to like you, you know how they feel and you can move away while there's still time. But when you don't know how they actually feel towards you, you keep trusting them and then they hurt you when you need them most....

Yeah, both hurt, but with the second one at least you can just forget them and move on with your life.

But if someone pretends to like you and just uses you and you find out after a lot of time has passed....it really hurts.
