Well, some states say that incest is only brothers and sisters, and they don't include cousins. I know, cuz a relative of mine married her cousin. I have a little trouble with first cousins having a crush on each other, but if you're so distantly related that あなた say it's "by rumor," then who cares, anyway?
if あなた have sexual relations with any of your family members then its incest. but incest may not be illegal in all states, although im pretty sure it is.
