Would あなた bring of your relationship to the person closest to あなた (or best friend) to a sudden end if it meant they could be happy?

This is under the scenario that no matter what, the relationship and their general happiness could no coexist.

Also that the sudden end wouldnt harm 発言しました person too much.

Honestly, I'm pretty well stuck with the people I regard as being the closest to me. I'm engaged to one of them and blood related to the rest, and I'm so well bonded to them all that I honestly doubt it would even be possible.
If I thought it were a thing that could actually happen, I would, but I really don't think it ever actually could happen.
