I was in the same ボート two years ago. My school had a guidance concealer for college bound students specifically. Perhaps yours does; it may not seem like something that would help (trust me I didn't think it would) but I gave it a shot and it really did. You'll figure it out.

My school doesn't. We only have normal guidance counselors. Even then they try to help, but it just confuses me even もっと見る and overwhelm me even more.

That sounds like an issue. Speaking from my personal experience; I find that going to a junior college close to ホーム is a good place to start; they're cheaper and あなた can have help from your parents if they are willing. I kind of just googled colleges in my area and then did some research on the ones that stuck out. The websites have it all if あなた click around あなた can see their prices and requirements to get accepted. All あなた have to do is Google 'colleges in *insert your town*.
