The genre.

School. I don't really watch 映画 that often, so all my お気に入り (like The Village, The Island, etc) are 映画 we've watched in class at some point.
Also if it's an adaptation of a book I like. And sometimes if the storyline seems interesting または the genre. I like horror 映画 and stuff.

I admit a lot of times it's the actors, especially since my お気に入り actors do genres I like.

The story.

characters and story. (especially characters)

If the previews looks good.

I mostly like action and hot girls... I don't mind just a bit of comedy either.

And there is no other movie I want to see もっと見る than this one.

I don't watch too much 映画 because they're usually really boring. and when i see the beginning, I usually know how it ends.

And I hate movie adaptations of 本 the most, only if they don't stick to the book though.

So I guess the storyline.

The Genre. I like comedy,horror,and action 映画 the most. I don't like 映画 with too much romance.

If they look interesting ( violence helps)

動物 are a forsho, uhh Actors yeah but I will pretty much watch any movie that I won't get in trouble with my parents for watching
