n the beginning there was Arceus. Arceus grew weary of maintaining time and 宇宙 while also maintaining its form, so it created Dialga to rule time, Palkia to rule space, and Giratina to give everything a shape. Arceus then decided that 宇宙 needed もっと見る than four beings to fill it; and so it created Uxie the representation knowledge, Mesprit the physical manifestation of emotion, and Azelf the embodiment of willpower.
When Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf met their energies combined to form Mew, the first life-form. Arceus recognized that Mew needed もっと見る than empty 宇宙 to survive, so it created Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza to construct a world for Mew. The three Titans began productively but eventually Kyogre and Groudon began to argue about the distribution of land and sea, Kyogre wanting the water, and Groudon wanting the soil, with Rayquaza pushing them both towards もっと見る chaotic ends. Arceus then cast the three builders into a deep sleep, and began a new system for construction.
In Arceus's new method, the flames of Moltres and the ice of Articuno generated the water of the oceans, while Zapdos energized the water to create a current. Heatran provided the raw materials for the land which Regirock and Registeel refined, Regice shaped, and Regigigas placed. through the efforts of Heatran, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Regice, Regirock, Registeel, and Regigigas a new world was formed.
Arceus then moved closer to its original system and made Suicune, Raikou, and Entei to battle in the skies. Suicune and Entei were always battling each other, in places where Suicune had the upper hand water and rain could be found, and where Entei won there was little water to be found. In the fiercest of battles Raikou joined in, creating thunder and lightning. the skies now had their new masters.
In order to prevent chaos Arceus created watchers to enforce the ones who built and ran this world. によって 日 Ho-oh watched Suicune, Raikou, and Entei fight,with its golden feathers making the sunlight; によって night Lugia watched the weathermasters battle, its silver down generating the moonlight. Manaphy kept Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno in check. Regigigas was able to oversee Heatran, Regice, Regirock, Registeel, so Arceus left it as a watcher.
With the world now fully created Mew was able to call it ホーム and spawn new beings. The first non-Mews of the world were the Shaymin, the Shaymin flew around the world and wherever they landed plants would grow. The 秒 and third of the non-Mew pokemon were Latios and Latias, and from their union came most other pokemon.
As the world grew, the powers of Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina began to reach their limits so Arceus granted them servants, the Celebi aided Dialga, the Deoxys worked under Palkia, and the Unown served Giratina.
Arceus eventually grew bored with watching the simple Pokemon go about their lives, it wanted もっと見る complex beings. Arceus presented that idea to Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit, but their powers could not create such beings; in response Arceus created three new beings: Cresselia, Darkrai, and Rotom. Cresselia was the embodiment of good while Darkai was the evil of the new beings, both of them led to Rotom, the symbol of creativity and innovation. Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit, Rotom, Cresselia, and Darkrai created a new being, something that was not a pokemon, it was mankind that emerged.
Man flourished in Arceus' world, they built upon the world, using the resources the pokemon had created, and the pokemon themselves as tools. Arceus knew that man would one 日 make life, a being to be known as Mewtwo. Mewtwo could bring about the end of the world, so Arceus promised that when Mewtwo came that Arceus would send greatest creation and future successor, Jirachi, to purge the world of Mewtwo and lead mankind to salvation.
