Admit it: 日本 gets EVERYTHING first. Sometimes it's JUST NOT FAIR. So I made this 記事 listing the fair side and the unfair side of 日本 getting things first.
The Fairness
Obviously the fact that ポケモン was made in Japan.
Even adults in 日本 fuss about Pokémon. There's probably もっと見る ポケモン ファン in 日本 than there is in America. So もっと見る people would be impatient in 日本 than there would be in America.
日本 is MUCH もっと見る fun loving and active. I'm pretty sure there things go QUICK (including waiting time).
The Unfairness (aka the part I've wanted to express since I found out ポケモン came from Japan)
We can get VERY impatient. Right now some of us just want to run so fast we'll go into the future and see the release 日付 of M17 (either that or, like me, learn Japanese, 移動する to Tokyo, and go to the 映画 and see it).
In Tokyo, there's a whole store dedicated to Pokémon. How much of that store do we have? Probably about 1/4.
日本 still has their 映画 in CINEMAS, not a once-in-a-lifetime chance of seeing it on Cartoon Network または go to the stores looking for the DVD only to find nothing. When was the last time WE had a movie in theaters? Hmm, let's see, probably 4 YEARS 前 WHEN THE BW 映画 HAD A COUPLE OF DAYS IN EXCLUSIVE THEATERS. If あなた don't include that short time it was THE FIRST MOVIE.

XY came out on the same 日 around the world apart from Spain, which, correct me if I'm wrong, got it either the 日 before または the 日 after 9/13/13 because it was a holiday.
