Skipper walked through the dark zoo alone. It was well after midnight. He was tired after a long 日 of training, but he had to make sure the rest of the team was asleep. Especially Kowalski.

"Doris!" He whispered, "I'm here!" A head poked out of the イルカ tank. Doris looked around, clearly nervous. "Are あなた alone?" she asked. Skipper nodded.
Doris looked relieved. "Remember, we can't let ANYONE know about this. They could tell Kowalski!"

"No one will know," Skipper promised.

"Are あなた sure we're doing the right thing here?...

Private opened his eyes, everything was red around him. He gulped but slid forward. Ami was lying on the sidelines while Blue was passed out near Kiki.

"Kiki.."

The green eyed ペンギン was staring down at Blue. "So あなた came Private."

"So it is あなた Kiki.." He raced フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして only to get smacked backwards. Private yelped at the action and staggered back. " .."

"You should have stayed back."

"Wh...Why are あなた doing this?"

"You've seen the bodies haven't あなた Private? What your 'brother' continues to do? I don't want anymore victims of his!"

Private glared, "You liar!" Kiki looked at him in surprise. "We...

"Where is he?!" Skipper questioned frantically. They were rushing up the 木, ツリー behind Celeste. Their speed was full of haste, with no excess time.
"Up a little farther, によって a nest. A man's pointing a loaded gun at him." Celeste announced. As they ascended up the tree, she kept watch over Private and the man. “So, now it’s your turn, Skipper” Katherine said. It was late, Kowalski and Rico yawned, but they tried to hide it.
“Maybe tomorrow, you’re sleepy...”
“No!” Private, Kowalski and Rico protested, Katherine and Skipper looked at them with a well-known look.
“Ok, maybe, but continue, please” Kowalski said, Private made 子犬 dog eyes.
“No, really, go and take a rest, we all should take a rest from yesterday’s events” Katherine 発言しました and stroked Private’s head “Goodnight” she 発言しました and left the penguins’ HQ. They went to their bunks, the three penguins couldn’t wait...

Dream

It was a quiet 日 in the HQ. It might've even seemed too quiet for some and that "some" wasn't Skipper. To Kowalski, something didn't seem right.
He left the HQ for a while and looked around the zoo and everyone was present in the zoo. All except for one: Monique. He double checked the zoo, he even triple checked. She didn't say anything about leaving and she's talked to Kowalski about a lot.
What was also amazing was that no one else seemed to notice her disappearance except for him. Not even Skipper, and he always his parttime blood shot, highly trained eyes on everything. Kowalski had...

    Kowalski walked into the living room with a yawn. “Morning guys.”

    “Well あなた look rested.” Skipper 発言しました sarcastically.

    “Sorry Skipper. I just didn’t sleep very well last night.”

    “Why not then?” Private asked innocently. “I don’t know. I just tossed and turned a lot. I couldn’t stop thinking.”

Monique was looking out the window with a sign of sorrow on her face. It has been at least 3 years since she left New York to fulfill her dream in California to sing, but it felt like longer. She was a bit homesick, but she mostly missed Kowalski. Sure they talk on the phone from time to time when they're both free, but it's not the same. She looked up at the stars, wondering what would be the right thing to do.
Just then, her phone was ringing. Kowalski was calling and she managed to answer.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Monique. It's me."
"I know it's you, Kowalski. How was your day?"
"Let's see, malfunctioning...

Underground Lair

Later that evening. . .
Kowalski: so did あなた leave any one behind in Colorado?
Wolf: No, did you?
Kowalski: yes, Dorris the dolphin

Skipper was the first one awake the very 次 morning; followed shortly によって Rico and Kowalski. Skipper walked over to his coffee urn and began brewing some coffee.

"Well boys, what's on the agenda today?" Skipper asked as the coffee urn began gurgling.

Kowalski was about to answer when he noticed that Private's bunk was empty.

"Ummm... Skipper it appears that Private isn't here," Kowalski 発言しました as pointed at Private's bunk.

Skipper looked over and let out a little growl.

"Seriously? What is going on with Private? I don't mind it if it's for the guests, but if it gets in the way of our training...

"This is the monkey habitat," Danny announced, waving around. I nodded in acknowledgment.

"Actually, we're chimpanzees, not monkeys," a chimp with a British-like accent said. He was picking up a バナナ peel that the other chimp had thrown on the ground. "You see, we don't have tails."

"Whateva," Julien rolled his big yellow eyes. "A monkey's a monkey, tail または no tail!" Then he doubled over laughing with Mort, who had a REALLY high-pitched squeal.

The other chimp scowled and signed something in what I assumed was sign language. He caught my interest.

"What did he just sign? Why doesn't he just talk?"...

Lexii stepped up to the shipping crate. She was shaking with both excitment and fear. She had never met another キツネザル または a penguin. There had been a few 動物 at her past small zoo but she was the only キツネザル and there was no other 動物 except 2 lions, a tiger, and a couple of tropical birds.
She shook her head. She had to do this!
She jumped into the shipping crate. It was just big enough for her to sit down in. If she stood up her ears were about an inch from the 上, ページのトップへ of the box. This is what she would be living in for the 次 5 hours.. Oh joy..
