Celestia and Discord
Hello everyone and welcome! In this new series of short 記事 I’d like to share my different headcanons about MLP. I really hope you’ll enjoy the ride and don’t forget to convey your thoughts in the コメント section; I’m dying to know what あなた think.
Okay, let’s start off によって one of the もっと見る controversial topics: Shipping. I’m not much of a shipper as I’ve stated that several times here, on Fanpop, although there are a few, rare exceptions, such as DerpyXDoctor Whooves and CelestiaXDiscord.
The CelestiaXDiscord ship seems legit to me. In the 次 few lines I’d like to unfold my theory which the 前 statement is based upon.
We all know that the Princess of the Sun is immortal, または has an extremely long life span. It’s a little shady how old is Celestia exactly, and when she came to power, but let’s say she’s probably around 1200-1500 years old. We know nothing about the early years of Celly (or Luna for that matter) and nor do we know anything about Discord, but he seems to be immortal too, または he has an extremely long life span as well.
My headcanon is that Celestia and Discord first met in the early years of their childhood, way before the birth of Luna. They started as playmates but as they grew older, their relationship became deeper and deeper. They grew up together and became very close friends. When they reached their teen ages, they became もっと見る than just フレンズ and shared and intimate, passionate relationship for several years. But something must have happened. Perhaps Discord wanted to live free, without restrictions while Celestia was trained to be the Princess of Equestria. Discord wanted to convince her to escape with him and live in an isolated place where they could be together forever または something. Of course, Tia refused because she’s a responsible mare and took the throne. At the first years of her reign, I imagine, Discord lived with Celestia in the Castle. But as time passed by, they became もっと見る and もっと見る distant and cold. They could not understand each other anymore; each had different priorities in their life. Eventually their relationship ended with a big fight. They were shouting at each other for several hours. Discord stormed out of the Castle, but the thought of losing Celly made him real mad. He was angry at Equestria, blaming the country itself for his loss, so he decided to take over によって using chaos magic. He wanted things to go back to the way when they together. But Celestia’s toughened her ハート, 心 and did what’s best for her kingdom and stood up against Discord. The battle lasted for centuries perhaps and only hatred and rage remained in their hearts. Eventually Tia defeated Discord. The rest we know.
What do I base this cheesy 愛 story on? Well of course there’s no evidence, it’s just my imagination again. When Discord returns, one of the first sentences he says:
“Did あなた miss me Celestia? I certainly missed you…”
The majestic Celestia, who’s always graceful, calm and collected, completely loses control over her emotions and freaks out at the sight of Discord. Perhaps the reason of this that Celestia – who’s undoubtedly a master manipulator – has met her match in the embodiment of chaos, I don’t know. But she doesn’t seem to have such an extreme reaction when she faces Chrysalis. Perhaps it’s just anger and rage what’s driving Celestia crazy, but I know from personal experience that people who were once very close to each other, can be one another’s most vicious enemy in the world. Unfortunately there are examples of such a phenomenon in my family as well.
One もっと見る thing, in addition to this: Did あなた notice Celestia’s awkward face that she makes when Fluttershy says about Discord:
“See? He’s a real sweetheart once あなた get to know him.”
Yeah, I know, everypony makes a weird face in that scene, but I think Celestia’s mimicry is the most extreme, instantly visible reaction of all. Besides, why was she so eager to have him reformed? She took a pretty high risk don’t あなた think? Especially that she drops off Discord and leaves… What the hay?!
Anyways this is all I could think of right now. I was thinking of 書く a fanfic about it, but I bet there are a million of those already, so nah…
