The sun rose as the first hours of January 1st arrived in Ponyville. It was a brand new year, and all the ponies were just starting to wake up. The birds were 歌う their beautiful songs as the morning dew on the green 草 slowly started to melt when the sun's heat touched the face of the world. As usual, ponies in Ponyville woke up just as the sun finished it's sunrise. Of course, Score Heights, probably Ponyville's best gamer, woke up early in the morning to start the 日 off fresh. She got out of ベッド and yawned loudly to exhale out the tiredness. Walking down the stairs, she though of all the things she was going to do today with her friends. Maybe I can do some art with Blaze and Alternate, または challenge Meari to some games , she thought. Score turned on her coffee maker. She walked to her closet and opened the door. Throwing her black トレーナー, スウェット シャツ on, she heard the coffee maker make a beeping noise, letting her know that her drink was ready. Closing the door, she walked over to the coffee to drink it. Using her magic to levitate it, she opened her door to smell the outdoor fresh breeze. "I will never forget this moment of the outside air," she said. She walked out side closing the door behind her, still levitating the cup of coffee. She took a sip, and looked at the houses of where a ポニー または もっと見る lived. She saw the 秒 floor's windows light up golden as the other ponies woke up, as they moved downstairs and the bottom window lights turned golden as well. Score took her final sip of coffee before she set it down at her door step. As usual, the mailman delivedred the newspaper to each doorstep of a house before any ポニー woke up. She looked down to see the newspaper before her hooves, she levitated it and read the front cover. "New Lunar Republic takes a stand?" She read, wondering what it was.

"New Lunar Republic huh?" She asked herself. "Nothing really important here..." She threw that newspaper in her garbage can. She started to walk but then she stopped. She looked at the garbage can, but shook her head and kept on walking. "Off to Benny's house, I do need something to start my 日 off." She 発言しました as she headed in the direction of the destination.

Once arriving there, she knocked on the door. There was a little pause. The door finally opened. "Oh , hi Score, didn't expect to see あなた here, come inside, I was just about to start making cupcakes." She said, gesturing to invite me inside. "Thanks!" I 発言しました walking inside, sitting down at her dining table. She closed the door and walked to the counter, mixing her batter for the cupcakes. "Have あなた read the news yet?" I asked. She added some blue dye to the mix. "Yes I have, anything I missed in it?" "Something about the New Lunar Republic, it seemed, somehow suspicous, but I kinda ignored it." She added white and red dye to the mix, and stirred. "Oh, I did see that. I didn't think it was suspicious または anything but I noticed." "Hmm, strange. Come to think of it, maybe there is a rebellion against the Solar Empire, maybe it's has to do with that..." I said. She poured her batter into a tray of 12 shaped カップケーキ molds. "Yeah, but I wouldn't worry too much about it." She put the tray in the oven. I saw the temperature was set higher than usual, although I didn't cook much so I guess she knew what she was doing. 秒 later, she opened the over and pulled out the hot tray. The カップケーキ looked perfect. "How did you-?" "New technology! Pretty neat, huh?" "I guess..."
She put three カップケーキ in a bag. "Here, あなた can take these ones, they are my New 年 cupcakes, so they are extra special!" She 発言しました as she handed them to me. "Thanks," I 発言しました as I levitated the bag. "I should get going, I got a tight schedule so I'll be seeing あなた later?" "Yeah if I'm around!" "Okay, later," I 発言しました as I left her house.

She headed over to Meari's house. On the road she was walking on, she saw some もっと見る ponies who were also running some errands, または playing in the streets. I sooned arrived at her house. She knocked at the door, and saw her open the door imeadiatley. Once she saw me, and recognized who I was, she hugged Score to death. As she released she breathed hard for air. "Come inside, we were just about to start without you!" She walked inside into the room we were about to paint. In there Score saw Blaze, Alternate, Cotton Swirls, and Stormy. "Hey guys!" Score called out. "Hey, Happy New Year!" They called out. Score grabbed her paint brush that she usually kept at Meari's house. " Okay, so I was thinking of doing swinging art!" Johnny Blaze said, putting a ハーネス on him. "We will each スイング and paint on the easel. Like so." He 発言しました then demonstrating the process. Everyone followed along and got harnesses on and did what he did. The ウォール was painted with many different colors, yet Score wasn't sure what they were painting. She knew that it was something for Ponyville, so she and the rest worked hard. After about an 時 または so, swinging and painting. They finally stopped, and saw the beautiful artwork they had done. "Another one done guys." Stormy said. "Okay guys, I gotta go, I'm on a tight schedule today, I mean like, the sun is already high noon!" Score 発言しました as she took her ハーネス off. "What about gaming?" Meari asked. "If I have time, I'll come back." I said, picking up my カップケーキ and walking out the door. 次 stop, Nikki's place.

At this time of the day, there were a lot of ponies out and about. Some were decorating the streets of Ponyville for the month. Others were playing, eating, または doing errands. Score ran over to Nikki's house.

When she arrived there, she saw Nikki and Azura practicing fights with Azuras weapons. "Hey guys!" Score called out. No answer. She set down her カップケーキ and ran over to them. "Hello?" Still no answer. Nikki and Azura swung their swords at each other and were equally matched as the where forcing there sword to go either way. Score kicked the swords out of their mouths sending them not too far away, but enough to get their attention. "I'm here!" Score claimed. "Sorry didn't hear ya..." Azura said. "Yeah, we were too busy fighting like two fillies in tug o war." Nikki 発言しました as she picked the swords up. She hands Azura's to Azura. "But anyway..." Azura said. She looked at me as slashed her sword at me. I quickly dodged it and 発言しました "So あなた wanna play that game huh?" I ran over to her stuff and grabbed a sword. "Oh, I can play that game very well." "Bring. It. ON!!" Nikki said. I ran and slashed my sword at both of them, making them stumble backwards. I pinned Nikki down, not letting her go any where, when I heard the steps of Azura getting close to me. I jumped off Nikki and rolled to the side, and Azura slashed at Nikki. Thankfully, she dodged it. "Very well played!" Azura said. "Let's see if that video gaming really came to use." She ran over to me and swung her sword at my feet at Nikkii did at my head. I jumped not too far in the air and rolled in the air long enough so that the swords below and under me would not touch me. "Beat that!" I said. We were all running for each other when suddenly we all heard " For heavens sake stop this at once." We froze in place and looked to see that Starlight Song was walking over. "My, look at you! All covered in that dirt! This will not do well, not at all!" She said, taking away the swords. "Great, here come her lectures," I whispered to Nikki. She giggled. "You know I have to model あなた later today and I cannot when あなた are covered in all that dirt! Come, we will get あなた washed up!" She pulled us away from Azura. "I'll see あなた later あなた guys! Have fun!" She said, waving good bye.

We arrived at her house as she ordered lots of maids to coem and wash us up in teh bathtub. After we were clean, they brushed our coats, mane, and tail and maybe even dying it a bit. Then they put outfits on us and we both when out on a stage as we saw many camera pointing at us. Starlight ordered us to look または smile different ways, sometimes she wanted u s to get in different outfits または model individually. After modeling, we walked out of there to the streets of Ponyville back in out regular clothes. "Well that was fun..." She said. I giggled a bit when suddenly I looked up to see a ポニー wearing a purple and black suit. On the front, it had a moon crest and wings on it. The pegasus was dropping flyers down that 発言しました New Lunar Republic. I looked around me to see the alley ways filled with the same flyers. The flyer had the same picture as the one I saw in the newspaper. What did this mean? Why now? Why? But the big 質問 was, who is behind it?
