Chapter 17: Lie Cheat Steal

A sudden pang hit his shoulder, and found himself looking at a frail, bundled girl, scuffling catch the bag she dropped. it fell into her arms as she offered Kick a hand. He took it. Her Turquoise eyes danced across his face in the shadows that passed by. he just stared, confused, mouth slightly agape. She swallowed hard and let her eyes fall onto his chest. Her mouth was dry. She blushed hard and slid past him, losing herself in the crowd. "But!" he turned and pushed through people. How familiar her face was, it was alarming.
