Chapter 17: Lie Cheat Steal

A sudden pang hit his shoulder, and found himself looking at a frail, bundled girl, scuffling catch the bag she dropped. it fell into her arms as she offered Kick a hand. He took it. They stood like towers, even. "Nice save" Kick complimented her. she tucked her blonde hair behind her ears that were covieniently hidden behind a コート collar. " Thanks." her voice was muffled from the deep blue scarf that was belted across her mouth. Her Turquoise eyes danced across his face in the shadows that passed by. he just stared, confused, mouth slightly agape. She swallowed hard and let her eyes fall onto his chest. Her mouth was dry. She blushed hard and slid past him, losing herself in the crowd. "But!" he turned and pushed through people. How familiar her face was, it was alarming.
"VICKY!" Gunther dropped his コート onto the wood floor and made his way through the キッチン to the fridge. Vicky came down the stairs, tooth brush dangling out of her mouth.
