Jang Ki Ha reveals what inspired him to write only 愛 songs for his band’s new album.
On June 15, Kiha & the Faces held the showcase for their fourth studio album.
During the showcase, frontman Jang Ki Ha was asked if their decision to create a love-themed album was influenced によって his relationship with IU.
He explained, “The lyrics are all fictional. Since all ten tracks [on the album] are about love, I would be lying if I 発言しました the lyrics are completely unrelated to my personal experiences. But instead of 書く down my own feelings, I tried to capture the most basic and universal emotions of love.”
He also revealed why they chose to go with 愛 songs, for the first time since their debut. “We used to think that 愛 songs are cheesy, but now we felt ready to do 愛 songs our way. That’s why we challenged ourselves and naturally included them in the album.”

During a low-key Hyukoh 表示する held in a cafe located in Hongdae, IU(アイユー) surprised everyone によって coming up to the stage without any notice.
During her appearance, she played the acoustic ギター and sang Lee Moon Sae‘s “Old Love.” She also performed a duet with Hyukoh’s frontman Oh Hyuk, 歌う the band’s hit song “Gondry.”
IU(アイユー) has previously voiced that she was a huge ファン of the band, posting a picture of herself holding the band’s album to her Instagram account. They got acquainted recently as they both participated in “Infinity Challenge‘s” 2015 音楽 Festival.
