What is the most overrated thing in ヘタリア (pairings/characters/etc.)

Pairings, and how it seems that もっと見る than half of the fandom is convinced ヘタリア is all about that. I myself ship a lot of stuff, but to me shipping is no where near how much fun and feels I have just によって watching Hetalia. I mean, sure, I fangirl when I see hints of my ships in the manga/anime, but あなた know what? I don't think I'd be as happy shipping them if they became canon. ヘタリア is about history and comedy, not about romance and drama, and I'd like better if it was kept as such.

Shipping wars.
Ugh. They make me sick. Who cares if someone doesn't ship your precious pairing, it's not as if it's the end of the world as we know it. That's part of the reason I'm not a shipper. And the fangirls tend to act obsessive over it, if their pairing gets bashed they will defend it to the grave. I ship a couple pairings mildly but at least it's for a reason, not just eye candy.

It should be "What are..."
First things that hit my mind:
1. UsUk (the pairing)
2. England (the character).

OMG the time has come! FrUk! I saw this video on YouTube called 50 Reasons to Ship FrUk, and even though a few were legit, the person 発言しました some like, "They sit on the same log in Paint It White." Rlly?

Pairings and people's 愛 for the characters.

I don't have to explain the pairings, someone else already did, but I think sometimes we go a wee bit overboard with 愛 for characters.
I remember one time on tumblr whenever the "Though I may depart, あなた shall remain" episode came out, and everyone started feeling sad for France. Yes, I understand, a sad episode in Hetalia, but jeez. After this episode, some people joked around some, kidding around about France, someone saying maybe, at one quiet moment, France was thinking about England, a couple people went to their 受信箱 and messaged the people posting the "bad" stuff about him to go and die, あなた wouldn't understand his feelings, あなた don't understand what the episode is about, etc.
But, they sent people death threats, just because of that little joke.

So yeah. I think that's just ridiculous, in my opinion. Not just for France, there have been many others like that as well.

ENGLADNENGLANDENGLANDENGLAND...I'll say it once more, England.

I 愛 Iggy, don't get me wrong, but most people seem convinced that he's the perfect character and あなた should live him もっと見る than others. And his two main pairings, USUK and FRUK are overrated as well. There are other pairings besides these two!!

I like England, but geeze, people just need to calm down.

The other thing is yaoi. I 愛 it. I'm a fangirl. I'm on both やおい spots here on Fanpop. But geeze, people in the fandom treat it like there is nothing else to the fandom. I've seen people hate on straight pairings for absolutely no reason (well, the reason is that they're not yaoi).

I 愛 it as much as the 次 girl, but the straight pairings exist, and it is possible to ship something that *gasp* isn't yaoi!!

Pairings. Why must it all about pairings? Seriously. Our fandom is tearing apart because of this..[in my opinion]
To be honest, England is kinda overrated because he's 'that lonely grouch we could all sympathize with,' and the fact he's not that bad looking just made their reasons even clarified. Though I have nothing against him, he's still just..a character..a fictional one at that..

Oh yes...Germany is kinda overrated now..I'm talking about the whole 'doitsu' religion thing..It used to be funny, but now it's just getting old.. I mean, did あなた know that they actually made a 'Doitsu day,' where あなた have to answer every 質問 with 'Doitsu'? I mean, seriously? What if someone's having their exams that day? -__-;

oh my god I can't believe anyone hasn't 発言しました this yet. SHIPPING WARS!
Holy crap I get so sick of UsUk and FrUk fangirls fighting over the dumbest little things! Shipping wars are seriously overrated. That and people who go around saying "Oh ヘタリア is history, therefore if あなた support this pairing that isn't historically accurate, than you're disrespecting the actual countries itself!"
Pffttt seriously? How dumb can あなた get? ヘタリア is based off of stereotypes. STEREOTYPES. Not to mention it's a Japanese cartoon/anime so who gives a f**k.
God, fangirls and history fangirls drive me up the frikkin wall. If あなた respect the CREATORS of hetalia, than maybe you'd be a better person and respected other people. I hate it when people respect a frikkin アニメ character もっと見る than they respect actual people. That's just straight up sad.

I would say that England is overrated. (No offense Iggy fans, I 愛 Iggy myself, but eh. He's not my fave character.) I would also say that the shounen-ai is overrated. Way too many people ship shounen-ai. What about straight couples? What about shoujo-ai? Those need 愛 too. (Though shipping characters together is overrated itself.) Heck, my brother is afraid to watch ヘタリア because he's afraid that it's gonna be only about shounen-ai. (And no, he's not a homophobe. He's フレンズ with a gay guy.) And people act like shipping is everything. NO IT ISN'T. ヘタリア is not a やおい show. (Or a 表示する to pair characters, on that matter.) It's a comedy 表示する that is meant for laughs. Seriously guys. We can do better than to start shipping wars. They're so fricking pointless. If あなた think about it, a shipping war is just a war over two FICTIONAL characters. that's why I hate arguing shipping wars so much. They are so pointless. And a waste of time too.

In my personal opinion it is three simple things~

1). UsUk

2). England ( I quite like England myself, however)

3). Pairings/Yaoi (I must be honest, I have not seen so much やおい in one アニメ that isn't about yaoi. It undermines the アニメ immensely and makes a lot of ファン forget what ヘタリア is about.)

Pairings, and the やおい people create...Escpically between Fruk and Usuk...the ファン arts are horrible, along with fanfictions. Plus, the two couples are at each others neck ALL the time. This is my 秒 account since in my last one, I was tired of how I ended up getting on ther ebad side just because I wasn't a full out Fruk ファン (I ファン both couples...)

I also think the hatred towards characters are over-rated...I mean, France is considered a rapist によって a lot of the fandom. And Russia is always some abusive person. So sometimes I must wonder if people do this on person. Even Spain, who is one of the sweetest characters on here is considered a pedophile, along with England. Really?

FRUK

I like it but still...
I have seen もっと見る bashing によって FRUK ファン than any other pairings. I don't know is it cause France is considered a perv and people are trying to back him up in a lovable relationship, they're cute together または what but dude the bashing should stop.

it would be the damn USUK.. i don't see any reason why it became so popular!! and why are there many shippers of the pairing..

Ugh...I just want to say it,.,ENGLAND!!!!
I mean, i 愛 iggy myself, but too many girls are falling for him, saying "he's the hottest guy ever", and making too many CRAPPY fanfictions that are usually about THEMSELVESx England. I hate it, but dont get me wrong...I 愛 iggy too.
So,the thing that pisses me off is when a fangirl (to me, its the American fangirls) says they 愛 England, and then they say "OH, i HATE being an American! I want to be British!" JUST BECAUSE OF FRICKIN ENGLAND! I mean, seriously guys! Just because あなた 愛 a character doesn't mean あなた should stop being loyal to your OWN country! I hate it! Hate it hate it, hate it! I 愛 APH America and I 愛 my country as well, also UK too, but not so much that I start hating MY OWN COUNTRY.
Also, whenever I see a video like "Hetalia's hottest guys" the number one hottest guy is ALWAYS ENGLAND!! Actually, i dont think that あなた should be categorizing characters either. That will eventually lead to arguments and overrated characters. Seriously, he's not the hottest thing ever to EVERYONE. we should be free to think what we want instead of forcing people to 愛 ENGLAND. To all あなた iggy lovers, I know you. I personally 愛 iggy too, 秒 to america. But to あなた fangirls who overrate him a tad bit too much, STOP. STOP forcing people to 愛 him and STOP categorizing characters. Its wrong and it stops people from thinking what they want.
