Was Fai's twin in the アニメ series?

Do あなた remember one of the last episodes in the アニメ series? Syaoran, Kurogane, and Fai were all under this weird illusion where they say things they were afraid of または something like that. I was expecting that Fai would see Ashura but instead he saw himself. Was that his twin または himself? I need to go back and watch that episode, but I think it was foreshadowing his twin.
