To be honest, I love hand-drawn, but I like CGI more. Just because hand-drawn animation was my childhood, doesn't mean I hate CGI animated movies..

I feel like a lot of the female characters end up looking the same and that doesn't only apply to Disney. But other than that, I don't really care.

Most of the time, they make the eyes too big, the people all look kind of like plastic dolls, the people look kind of unrealistic and wierd, and the people look the same. Also because it's not about the nostalgia but I feel like CGI makes things look too realistic and 3D. I like things to be very simple but still classic and beautiful like Beauty and the beast or Pocahontas. Sometimes realistic isn't always better. I like the fresh feeling of hand drawn animation.

At first I was annoyed by it, but then I started to like it! I guess I accepted the fact that there wont be western 2D movies in the near future.

I don't know I really like both

I grew up on both, so nostalgia didn't really impact me that much. Basically I think the scenery and characters look much too 3D and lacks some of the beauty of a hand drawn masterpiece. I like CGI too, just not as much.

I really love CGI animation.

I'm missing the art in CGI (the only CGI movie in which I think that the background doesn't clash with the characters is Tangled), especially the acid sequences.

I guess I just love hand-drawn. I didn't grow up with it (or CGI. I did, however grow up with video game graphics), but there's something truly magical about drawings coming to life.
I like CGI, but moreso in the backgrounds. They can add so much detail and make thins look so beautiful and realistic. I personally think hand-drawn characters look...better. I'm not sure how to explain that. They have a more polished look, and they seem to have more variety.

As much as I'd love to see a traditionally animated film out in theaters again, I love CGI if it's done well. Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks in particular all have mastered their CGI and it looks amazing.

I love both 2D and 3D. What I don't get is when someone says that "3D doesn't have the magic that 2D does". I'm just like, "what". :/
