I expect Aladdin will be voted out, and then Beast, and then the Prince, and it will be down to Eric vs. Flynn! I won't care who of those two wins, they're both great :)
Beast on the other hand shoves his male superiority multiple times in Belle's face, being both physically stronger and generally more powerful than her, using said superiority to hold her hostage. And yes, it was not because she was a girl, but because she offered herself as exchanged for her father, however, later on, all of Beast's development is based on the fact that she is beautiful and he's not therefore he wants and tries to desperately measure up to her level by learning more about mannerism which doesn't strike me as much of a personality development. His journey of reformation was set in motion by Belle's looks, much like Smith's.
And BelleAnastasia, why do you consider Flynn any more feminist friendly than Eric or Prince
Prince is probably neutral, I'm not sure why he's higher up than Charming, though.
Yes, so far I really like the way that this countdown is going.
To the Beast's credit: He might feel unsure because Belle is so beautiful and he isn't and he might see Belle mostly as a way to break the spell at the beginning, but again, it's not really her beauty which leads to him developing feelings for her, but the way she acts after the wolf attack. Though he starts out as "beauty is important", he is the one prince of whom I'm sure that he learned his lesson in the very end, thouroughly.
I guess, when Aladdin is gone, I'll go for the prince....because then he is the only one left who basically only went for the beauty of his love, and not for her mind.
Plus, Eric might not in love with Ariel's look, but he is very much in love with her voice...which is slightly better, I guess, but still a far cry from being in love with her mind and her character. He eventually comes around to silent Ariel too (mind you, after having seen her in the pink dress and realizing that she is beautiful), but would he have taken her to town at all if she hadn't looked beautiful enough and without Grimsby's prompting?
