ディズニー Princesses

Hello, everyone! This is the first installment of my new series analyzing the DPs' personalities according to the Enneagram system.

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward 説明 of someone’s personality.

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:



Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Rapunzel is very warm to everyone she meets....

Triton is one of those dads in ディズニー that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t 愛 him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I got inspired によって laylastepford's link about which American Cities the ディズニー Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an 記事 about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each ディズニー Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy 書く these, and since I re-watched メリダとおそろしの森 a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one あなた can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the ディズニー princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how ディズニー markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna または Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the アナと雪の女王 sisters, ディズニー markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

I realized that I've never written an 記事 with any of my 一覧 in this club; so I wanna start with something that I really love: ディズニー Princesses' Outfits! I'm a big ファン of ディズニー dresses, here's why I 愛 cosplayers and to cosplay so much. It's wonderful to see an animated dress in person.
Well, about my article: I included just complete outfits, for example I kept out Ariel's rags because, in my opinion, this isn't even an outfit, または Mulan's white dress she wears under her Matchmaker visit dress because they are part of the same outfit. I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...



9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my 一覧 if her curls were もっと見る defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.


12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my お気に入り hair color and Cinderella's burnt オレンジ hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.


11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like あなた can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...

Just a quick 記事 to compare Gaston to the Beast and decide who is really the villain...

Similarities:
Gaston: Vain, selfish and doesn't really care about anyone else.

Beast: Spoiled, selfish, cursed for not having any 愛 in his heart.
