ディズニープリンセス Article: My Opinion on Emma Watson Playing Belle

I may be a little late for this but here we go...

So I have this opinion that I don't know whether または not it's popular, but I know at one point it wasn't. Everyone is just like "oh, she's going to be horrible as Belle!" But I strongly disagree, and here is why.

People say she looks nothing like Belle, so I'm just sitting here like soooo....? She looks no less the the same as Emilie de Ravin does, and she makes a great Belle on Once Upon a Time! I get it, when people see the live action versions of these movies, they want to see the characters similar in both personality wise and デザイン wise, but they really don't look that different.

However there are reasons why I'm excited for this, especially after seeing the trailers for the movie.

For one, I find many similarities between Belle and Hermione Granger from Harry Potter, another character played によって Emma Watson. Seeing Emma being cast as Belle made me super excited, because I 愛 Hermione, and I loved the way Emma Wateon played her. I mean, obviously there are differences between Hermione and Belle, but the point is seeing her play someone so similar to Belle makes me confident that she will do a good job with his role.

It may also be my personal bias, but this is also one of my お気に入り actresses, playing a princess that is in my 上, ページのトップへ five, so that brings a lot of excitement.

Plus her 歌う voice is so stunning, and although I thought original 歌う voice of Belle was okay, Emma's voice sure takes the cake for this! It's so clear and once again, ディズニー has surprised me with another actress being able to sing.

So yeah, I really don't have any issues with Emma Watson as Belle, and am really excited to watch it!

RoseRapunzel I absolutely agree! I don't like that some people think she's terrible as Belle or they just see Hermione instead of Belle. I have no problem with her, in fact, I'm excited to see the great job she's surely done.

Sparklefairy375 I agree with you. Emma is a great choice for the role of Belle. I don't understand why peoples having trouble about her as Belle. They need to move on from Hermione :P Anyway, I completely agree that Emma, Belle, and Hermione are quite similar :) good-looking and smart girls :D

Mongoose09 I agree with this article, I understand why she wouldn't be everyone's taste but I think she's a perfect choice, especially since she's so passionate about the role, clearly loves the character and isn't just playing the part for the paycheck or to look good. Sure, my opinion might change when I actually watch the movie but regardless I can understand why she was picked. People say she's a bad actress and while she might not be Oscar-worthy or anything she REALLY improved over the course of the HP movies; she was brilliant in the last couple of movies IMO. I also don't get the "doesn't look like her" comments... caucasian?? check. beautiful?? check. slim?? check. brunette?? check. Even if she didn't look like her it doesn't really matter anyway, of course this movie is supposed to be similar to the animated version, but it's not supposed to be an exact replica.

deedragongirl I whole-heartedly agree, I hate it when movie stars tend to be typecast in a certain role.

quishy11 Very nice article! I don't agree because I strongly feel that Emma's and Belle's vibes are at the opposite end of the spectrum. Good actresses can create a personality fine, but the vibes do not always work. And that's the most important thing for me to get into the movie. I can still enjoy it but I won't get nearly as into it. And I like Paige's voice better, to throw my opinion out there lol.

lililc ok,i saw the trailer, she wouldn't be my first option but she seems decent. Until now the only thing i don't like about Belle in the new movie is the dress , everything else looks pretty good

hatelarxene I love this article! Emma Watson is the perfect Belle. The only thing I would disagree with you on is that the original Belle's voice is just "okay" while Emma's voice is "stunning" (though it is good). No way is Emma Watson a better singer than Paige O'Hara. No way. I honestly don't get the criticisms that she looks "nothing like Belle". Lily James didn't look like Cinderella, either, and Elle Fanning DEFINITELY looked nothing like Aurora whatsoever (and honestly, those two looked even less like their animated counterparts than Emma does to Belle). I'd rather have someone who doesn't look like the character but can actually ACT (such as James, Fanning, or especially Watson, who's also one of my favorite actresses) rather than someone who looks more the part yet CANNOT act to save lives (*cough* Emmy Rossum *cough*. Seriously, I don't know why so many people want Rossum as Belle).

Mongoose09 ^ agree, for sure. Emma definitely looks more like Belle than those two did as their characters (I love Lily James as Cinderella, don't get me wrong).

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

Here's my quick top10 お気に入り of ディズニー Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune または lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I 愛 become my all time お気に入り and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic 音楽 is. Anyways, this is my current 一覧 of 上, ページのトップへ 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I 移動する onto newer songs.

The Classics (& Such DPs) Are Unrealistic....

.... または Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be もっと見る positive people. Merida: A character review in her defense

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd お気に入り princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

The saddest moments from DP 映画 that made me cry and most often they still do. Some are close to ハート, 心 while some are so well enacted and animated that i'm moved によって the simplicity of emotions.

13. 3 good 妖精 put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.

I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the 作者 of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This song reminds me of the scene in the woods after she's been scared によって the dark shadowed shapes of the trees. When she asks the 動物 what they would do and starts 歌う With a Smile and a Song. Well this be an alternative song または whilst she' 歌う she could be imagining her favourite things. I can also Snow White 歌う this. It does require a positive sounding vocal so it makes sense.

Hello All! Due to my life interfering with my time these days, I took a hiatus from 記事 writing.
