Back to my Character In Review series with another one of my favorites, Pocahontas! I was originally planning on doing them in chronological order, but I decided to go in order of お気に入り instead because that seemed もっと見る interesting. I'm also going to structure this a little bit differently than my last one, but I hope あなた still enjoy ^^ Anyway, without further ado, the article!

Pocahontas is great in many ways, but I think there was one instance that really struck me as remarkable, and solidified my 愛 for her. That scene is the one when Nakoma tells Pocahontas that she sent Kocoum after Pocahontas, which ultimately got Kocoum killed, and John Smith sentenced to exile. Pocahontas could've back-lashed, but instead she says, "This is all my fault!" I find that extremely admirable, and something that is often over-looked when people describe her. It's a unique trait to Pocahontas, since most princesses would've either back-lashed, または cried, Pocahontas admitted that she was the one that got everyone into this, and wasn't in the least mad at Nakoma. I found that astounding, and oh so refreshing. Also, even after this mess, Pocahontas just doesn't mope around. She takes responsibility, and realizes that she's the only one that can stop this. She's very proactive, even if a bit slow to get there.

Nakoma in general just brings out the best in Pocahontas. I absolutely 愛 the opening scene we see of Pocahontas, where she's standing on the rock, having one of her infamous dramatic poses, and dives down into the water. It shows how adventurous and fun she is. Then, we get to see her spit water at Nakoma, which I loved seeing. I 愛 how her relationship with Nakoma is light-hearted and fun, yet they can rely and trust each other, and they know what's best for one another. I 愛 how there are so many traits to Pocahontas. She doesn't fit into the cookie cutter "fun" princess, but neither does she fit into the "serious" type princess. She has characteristics of both, which I find really fun and interesting to watch. Pocahontas handles herself with such elegance and grace, but at the same time jumps off cliffs, how awesome is that? Also, although she has knowledge that really is foreign for her age, she still makes mistakes, and isn't a superwoman.

"I especially 愛 his smile!" I 愛 that line and how it shows Pochaontas' もっと見る sarcastic side. She then talks to her father about her dream. He tells her that Kocoum wants to marry her, but it doesn't make Pocahontas happy at all. Instead of wanting a strong または secure husband, Pocahontas wants someone who she can have fun with. Pocahontas then sings the song "Just Around the Riverbend". I 愛 this song and the things what it shows about Pocahontas. It really introduces her indecisiveness, my お気に入り quality of her. Some may think that's her most annoying quality, but I find it to be her most realistic quality, and I 愛 the journey she takes in the movie to overcome it. She ends the song によって choosing the もっと見る dangerous path, which goes back to the beginning when she chooses the cliff too.

She then consults Grandmother Willow. I 愛 how she goes to Grandmother Willow for help and guidance. Some people think that needing help makes あなた weak, but I think it grounds Pocahontas and makes her もっと見る realistic. She talks about not knowing her path which really resonates since I have no idea what I want to be when I'm older. After that, she stalks John Smith for a while, displaying もっと見る of her curious side. She runs away from John Smith, realizing he could be dangerous, and then puts up a front that she can't understand him. She doesn't wait to talk to him until she knows that it's the right path in her heart. This shows she's もっと見る cautious than some may believe. I 愛 the naivety she shows when talking with John Smith. I find it really endearing and interesting. I 愛 how she then tries to run away when Pocahontas calls her people savages. It shows that she isn't a pushover and won't take crap from anyone. When John tries to force her into staying, she doesn't dismiss and give up, she jumps in the tree.

I really 愛 the scene "Colors of the Wind". I 愛 Pocahontas's knowledge and wisdom and how she can be indecisive yet full of wisdom at the same time. She then realizes that she shouldn't be there and runs away, only to go back to him later. I think her going back to a thing that she knows she shouldn't be going to is realistic and relatable. I 愛 how Pocahontas wants to help, wants to stop the war, but has a tough time figuring out how. She isn't some super princess who can magically fix everything. She's realistic in her problems and flaws. While Kocoum was being killed, Pocahontas tries to stop everything. She doesn't cower in the background and watch it happen, she actually does something! Her 次 scene is one of my all time お気に入り of hers. It's when she talks to Nakoma and Nakoma is telling her that she sent out Kocoum, but Pocahontas shushes her tells her that it's all her fault. It really shows how she takes responsibility for her actions.

Later when talking to Grandmother Willow we finally see Pocahontas break free of her indecisive chains and figure out her path. She was on the brink of giving up, but then she finally took charge. I absolutely 愛 this scene. Her development is realistic and doesn't just come out of no where. I 愛 how it happens gradually and she doesn't just figure it all out easily, but has to struggle and go through a lot of doubt to figure it out. I 愛 how she doesn't know what to do, but knows that she must do something. When she risks her life for John it again shows her selflessness and bravery, which is again shown in her staying after for the good of her people. She gets rid of her personal desires and think about the best of her people, which is so admirable.

The compass scene where it points her to the right direction is such a powerful scene in my opinion, since it symbolizes how Pocahontas finally knows her path. I 愛 how Pocahontas isn't scared to take the path less followed, and how she welcomes change. That's something that I wish I could do, since often I feel I'm stuck in a rot and can't get out. Pocahontas lacks some common sense, since she doesn't even try to explain to her father the situation, but I find that's a quality that makes her もっと見る realistic, and human. Sometimes something is starring me straight in the face, but I wait till it's almost too late to do anything, since I'm scared that something might go wrong, and Pocahontas is clearly the same. I'm glad they gave this trait to Pocahontas, because many fictional characters in general just seem to figure everything out way too quickly and unrealistically.

All in all, Pocahontas is incredible. I 愛 the development she goes through, how it's realistic and relatable. I also 愛 how she's diplomatic and well-spoken, yet indecisive and can't see things that stare at her right in the face. I 愛 how she's very proactive, yet has times where she does nothing due to fear and uncertainty. She's such an amazing, well-rounded character and will forever be a お気に入り of mine. Well, that's the article! I hope あなた enjoyed, and thanks for reading!

11. Merida (Points: 273)
Sadly, though not surprisingly, Pixar's princess is still considered the least attractive of the DPs. Though a growing group of people have begun to appreciate her looks, most users 発言しました that they didn't like her round face shape and lack of distingushable eyelashes. In fact, the only thing many people liked about her appearance was her long, curly red hair- though even...

I 愛 imagining DP and their fashion, the kind of jewelry they may wear, the kind of parties they'd have. I have done a couple of these before for wedding themes and jewelry. This 記事 mainly talks about their signature fashion style.

Snow White:
I think midi-length, flared skirts will suit her chirpy and joyful personality. She's the kind who'd want to keep her dresses simple yet playful and have a bit of color palette to explore in her wardrobe. Short gloves will also look lovely on her. Layering in スカート will match her upbeat and vibrant persona.
Best Color: all shades of red. Black...

Maybe i some 日 , time 前 was guilty of calling some of the princesses "bad role models" , i was wrong, i realized that the fact that i don't like a character または don't agree with, them doesn't mean they are bad role models.

To be fair,i find some people saying "Princess are a bad role model for girls because "insert princess name and reasons here" . But i don't see anyone saying a freaking thing about the ディズニー male characters . I did an 記事 in the ディズニー club

It was supossed to be a parody of how people critize female characters but never say a thing about males. Nobody actually...

I hope that you have a great time in Europe, Anna!
Hi guys, since the Asian batch made it through the front page of Fanpop. Here are the European batch of Anna!

Italian (Serena Rossi)

My first impression on Serena (no, not her namesake アナと雪の女王 costar, Serena Autieri) is that she sounds a bit like Kristen Bell. But, one thing is that her voice is slightly deeper than Kristen and 全体, 全体的です good job! (Ratings: 9.5/10)

French (Emmylou Homs)

When I first heard her 歌う 愛 is an Open Door, she sounds very bubbly and gentle at the same time. She does not sound heavy at all! (Ratings: 10/10)

Dutch (Nootje Herlaar)

Okay, I found out that Nootje is actually...

11. Merida
Actual rank: 10

Wow, I am legitimately shocked that Merida is もっと見る 人気 than we thought she was. I've always viewed her as Fanpop's most hated princess, but I guess that's not true anymore! Unfortunately she's still very unpopular.

I'm going to tentatively...

So Rapunzel had a great beginning. "A single drop of sunlight" fell to the ground and created a 花 (?) that "had the ability to heal the sick and injured." Then because the クイーン was dying, the 花 was mashed up and 与えられた as スープ to the クイーン who got well again. And the magic affected her baby. The magic golden 花 caused the newborn to be born with a head full of hair, and already extremely active.

Wait, what?

Did Gothel take her right after she was born? Isn't that dangerous? Shouldn't Rapunzel be with her mother, be nurtured によって her and everything. Like, come on, at least wait until...

Since nobody had done this, I thought that I could write this 記事 since I 愛 Enya's songs!

1) Fairytale

The 3 classic princesses will definitely 愛 this song, as the タイトル says it all. The 音楽 is very soothing and yet at the same time mesmerizing!

2) Wild Child

Ariel and ジャスミン are considered fiercely independent, so this song SUITS/スーツ their spunky background!

3) Anywhere Is

Belle wants adventure, so this energetic song SUITS/スーツ her. Especially during the 'Belle Reprise' scene!

4) Memory of Trees

Since Pocahontas is an environmentalist, this sad song will be good and I would imagine her...

This is my updated princess ファン list. The biggest change is a swap-out/trade-placements of two princesses. These are my opinions. I will explain as I go.

1. ムーラン
I’ll probably be a ファン of her my whole life. She’s the most sacrificial character in the whole ディズニー Princess lineup, and I can’t help admiring her for overcoming her numerous flaws. ムーラン is a convincing heroine, and her humaneness is something that I find missing in some of the Revival Era girls.

2. Ariel
She was my childhood favorite, but she doesn’t seem to diminish in my...

PART 2

Hello and welcome to part one of my COUNTDOWN FOR お気に入り COUPLE BESIDES PRINCESS/PRINCE! Part one includes the couples that I think are just hated によって most as some of them break up a lovely couple. The couples in this part don't have a lot of redeeming qualities to them. Take a look. Read and comment. Also, I thought it would be fun to make little "reaction photos" to go along with the 写真 of the couple.

THE LAST PLACE COUPLE IS. . .

Jafar wanted power によって any means. When his options were running out, he tried to get power another way. によって marrying Jasmine. Not much...

So, with this topic on whether または not Elsa should be gay has been very 人気 over the internet, I felt it was time to tell あなた my opinion on this topic.

Before あなた get disgusted with me または anything, I have no problem with the LGBT community. In fact, my best friend is gay, and we often talk about boys and "ship" each other.

Now, there are a lot of reasons I think ディズニー should wait and make an original gay princess instead of making Elsa gay, I mean the main reason is I see Elsa as having no interest in romance- whether it's a male または female. I would much rather have a sequel centering around...

 Who will play Belle?
Who will play Belle?
So, I have been hearing from many people over their disagreements about Emma Watson's casting as Belle. So, I thought that I would write this 記事 about it if she wasn't cast at all, first no hard feelings to any Emma Watson ファン out there (including myself) または to the actress herself. So here are my 一覧 of actresses.

1. Anne Hathaway

I first heard her sing in Les Miserables, she blew everybody away with her rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream', she's a marvelous singer in her own rights and I'm glad she's a talented actress!

2. Keira Knightley

I remember doing a アンケート regarding this 6 years ago...

Since it isn't so much left until クリスマス I decided to write a few 記事 here on that theme, not sure how many I'll do, but here's the first one. あなた may not remember this song, but link in case あなた haven't heard the song. Anyway originally the song had the 6 first ディズニー Princesses 歌う the song, but I decided to redo the song a bit によって adding 6 new princesses and their parts has new lyrics. I decided to exclude Merida, so the new parts will be dedicated to Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa. I'll write on each part which princess that has that part, anyway hope you'll...

What I will write will be similar to what I wrote on the last article. Most of my opinions are the same except for Aladdin. I wanted to write an updated 記事 because I finally rewatched Aladdin. Please no rude comments. Enjoy!

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

12. Frozen- As many of あなた know, like メリダとおそろしの森 I detest this movie. The characters are very irritating & the movie was trying way too hard...

Charm-the Real Feminine Mystique:
"A girl need not have perfect features nor an outstanding figure to be popular. But she should have charm. As Sir James Barrie had Maggie say in his play, What Every Woman Knows, 'If あなた have it, あなた don't need to have anything else; and if あなた don't have it, it doesn't much matter what else あなた have.'

Once あなた have acquired charm, you'll probably never lose it. Especially after あなた have discovered how much happier your life is because あなた are considered to be that charming girl down the street.

To be charming あなた need not to be any particular age, weight または height...
