Diazdiaz95 won ファン of the 月 for October: 2014, and I got the pleasure to interview him. So, Let's start the interview then.


1. Were あなた expecting to win FOTM for October?

Not really. I mean, I came in 秒 place in September so I guess I was expecting to do well in this month's アンケート but I was still surprised that I won and that I got so many 投票 and comments, I really appreciated them. I am happy that I won although I don't believe that I've done enough to deserve this タイトル and it is a little awkward for me to win since I am running FotM. I'm happy that I won in one of my お気に入り months, I was hoping to win sometime between October and February (my お気に入り months).


2. What characteristics do あなた usually admire in ディズニー Princesses?

I admire ディズニー Princesses and any female characters who are brave, strong, and fight for what they believe in. I often like outspoken, sassy, and/or somewhat rebellious characters who go out and get things done. I think that my 上, ページのトップへ 6 (Tiana, Snow White, Merida, Anna, Rapunzel, and Mulan) all exhibit most of these characteristics, they take stands and think for themselves without having to rely on others so much to get their happy ending. I just like those girls with a bit of attitude and spunk who are still nice and have a good sense of humor. I also admire elegance and grace but they aren't the most important things to me. I want to see princesses who act like もっと見る like real, modern girls.


3. What characteristics do あなた NOT usually admire in ディズニー Princesses?

I'm not extremely attracted to the princesses who don't speak their mind または do much to improve their situation. It is admirable to be dutiful and obedient but I like it when female characters take chances and make mistakes and aren't afraid to speak up when they don't like something. I also don't like it when female characters don't just get to the point and say what is on their mind. I guess I'm usually not as into the quieter, less proactive princesses.

-Favorite Animated Movie: Probably Mulan. My お気に入り non-Disney animated movie is probably Rise of the Guardians, their are several others that I like a lot too though.
-Disney Movie あなた feel the most nostalgia for: Hmm, I've been trying to figure this out lately and it is probably either Aladdin, Mulan, または Hercules. Strangely enough I feel a lot of nostalgia for The Little Mermiad even though I never saw it growing up, maybe I did but forgot.


5. Outside of ディズニー Movies, what are some of your お気に入り movies?

I like several other animated 映画 but aside from those I tend to like a wide variety of films and it's hard for me to pick favorites. I 愛 the 星, つ星 Wars series (yes, I'm a nerd lol) and I usually like films set in the past (period pieces) または anything that features great acting, especially from any of my お気に入り actors. I'm the type of person who usually likes critically acclaimed, Oscar nominated films and likes well done dramas もっと見る than special effects extravaganzas または generic comedies and horror films. I do have some guilty pleasures though, like Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement and others.


6. Which characteristics from your お気に入り ディズニー Princess do あなた wish あなた had?

I wish I was as メリダとおそろしの森 and selfless as Mulan. I don't think I'd be able to do what she did (taking her father's place in the army, fighting the Huns, defying the law like she did even at the risk of death, etc.). I also wish that I could fight like her または be as good a quick thinker as her. I just wish that I were もっと見る like


7. Which characteristics from your least お気に入り ディズニー Princess are あなた glad あなた don't have?

I actually think that シンデレラ has some admirable traits that I wouldn't mind having but I'm happy that I'm not nearly as submissive as her または Aurora. Even though I try to always be nice, I do like to speak my mind and I would definitely stand up for myself または at least try to fix my situation. If I were Aurora , for example, I wouldn't just mope around after being pretty much forced to marry a stranger, I'd run away または refuse to go または something else. The same with Cinderella, I'd go to the ball whether my dress is all ripped up または not and I'd tell the Prince the truth about my life right from the beginning and not just run away at midnight. I'd stand up to those stepsisters if they ripped up my dress, I'd give them a piece of my mind *snaps* Cindy wouldn't take it anymore lol. I'd probably get kicked out of the house but oh well, actually I'd try to get outside help if I were in Cindy's position. What was the 質問 again? Oh yeah, I'm definitely glad that I'm not that quiet and submissive.


8. Are あなた planning to contribute to this spot for as long as あなた are on here, または are あなた もっと見る interested in other clubs?

Of course, actually I've got a few 記事 drafts that I'm working on right now for this club, I'd actually like to get もっと見る involved in the club and get to know もっと見る DP club users.


9. What is your お気に入り thing about this club?

The users. They are almost all very nice and make the club feel like a community, a family even. Of course, I also really like the articles, forums, polls, and other things but the best thing is definitely the users themselves :) Some other websites have such rude, annoying users so I'm happy that this club is full of so many fun, friendly people.



10. Which contribution do あなた ENJOY contributing to the most? (Images, videos, polls, comments, articles, etc.)

Articles. Like I said, I've got a bunch of 記事 that I'm working on and will hopefully be publishing soon and most of my contributions to this club have been articles. Unfortunately, I haven't published one in a while because I've been so busy.


11. According to your profile, あなた joined ファンポップ in March 2014. How did あなた discover the site? Did あなた want to 登録する it immediately?

O.k. so this might be a long story. Well, it was March, as あなた said, and I'm not exactly sure what I was searching for at the time, if was either 記事 about アナと雪の女王 または ディズニー Princess lists but probably the first option. I came across a アナと雪の女王 hate 記事 on this site and I hadn't met anyone in real life who hated that movie so I wanted to see what the writer had to say. Well, it turns out that the 記事 was written によって a certain user who is no longer active here but was usually rude. I was really annoyed によって the 記事 because she gave very superficial reasons for hating the film, she was so negative, annoying, and rude and the 記事 was badly written so I got mad and decided that I needed to respond to the article. It's o.k. if she didn't like アナと雪の女王 but I really didn't like the way she expressed herself so I immediately joined the club just to コメント on the 記事 (hence my dumb username, I wasn't really thinking it through since I had no intention to actually stay on the site at the time). Well, I never did コメント on the 記事 because I checked out the rest of the club, liked what I saw, and started working on my first article, completely forgetting the アナと雪の女王 article. Even though I didn't really like that user I do have to admit that I wouldn't have joined ファンポップ when I did if it wasn't for her. I remembered that I had read some DP beauty 記事 on this site months before joining but at the time I hadn't thought of actually joining. It is kind of a weird story, I guess I just thought that the club was cool and decided to stay. Wow, that was a long answer, I warned you.



12. Which ディズニー Characters do あなた feel strong, positive opinions towards?

My 上, ページのトップへ 6 ディズニー Princesses, my 上, ページのトップへ 4 Princes (Aladdin, Kristoff, Flynn, Naveen), the Winnie the Pooh characters, Meeko and Percy, Edna Mode (she's fabulous), several of the villains (Queen Grimhilde, Maleficent, Jafar, Hades, Frollo, YZMA, Kronk, Iago), most of the cast of Aladdin, Hercules, Mulan, the Toy Story films, Mike and Sully, Dory, Esmeralda, Megara, Cogsworth, Timon, Pumbaa, and Rafiki, Mickey, Oswald, and most of the main characters like Donald and Goofy, Jane, Professor Porter, Terk and Tantor, Jim Hawkins, Sebastian, ugh I'm sure I've forgotten some characters. I'm sure I'll 愛 the Big Hero 6 characters. Let's just say that I generally have very positive feelings toward ディズニー characters.


13. Which ディズニー Characters do あなた feel strong, negative opinions towards?

-_- Pretty much the entire casts of Chicken Little, Dinosaur, and ホーム on the Range, especially that dumb, fat, loudmouthed main cow. Prince Charming (still snoozing), Gaston, The Prosepctor and that annoying Al guy from Toy Story 2, Buzz Lightyear when he was all high and mighty and thought he wasn't a toy. Sid, Monstro, and I'm sure their are others, I just can't remember them.


14. Is this one of your お気に入り clubs? If so, why?

It's actually my お気に入り club because it is a ディズニー club, the users are great, and it is probably the most active club on Fanpop.


15. Who are some of your お気に入り users/closest フレンズ on the club?

Oh my, well I like almost everyone on this club except for the occasional trolls または rude users who only seem to come on to start drama. Some of my closest フレンズ on here are BKG201, fiina, 324anna, and Tygers_Eye, I've probably talked to them もっと見る than any other people. I've also talked to Silverrose (I think he was the very first person that I ever private messaged on here), Sk8er_grl, Shanyuisboss, and others quite a bit and consider them my フレンズ on here. I don't want to forget anyone, I really do like all of the active members on here and have talked to many of them and hope to get to know many others as well.


16. Which ディズニー Princess do あなた think あなた act the most like?

Hmm probably Belle または Tiana although I've also been compared もっと見る than once to Rapunzel and I do have my Anna moments so I'm probably like a weird mix of those four. I have similarities with all of the princesses but I'd say Belle because I 愛 to read and don't usually fit in with people in real life, I'm a dreamer like her and Tiana but I'm also considered intelligent and mature like those two and I'm also pretty hardworking like Tiana, sometimes. It's hard to describe myself and compare myself to a princess. According to Fanpop, I act most like Rapunzel.



17. Which ディズニー Princess do あなた think あなた act the least like?

I guess Ariel. I'm adventurous but definitely not at her level. She can be downright reckless and I'm definitely not reckless. I don't think that she thinks through things that much, which is different from me as well and she is kind of irresponsible with her concerts and I always try to be responsible when I'm working on a performance または have assignments to do. Oh, I'm also not very much like Aurora, like I 発言しました earlier I speak up when I don't like something and I take action, unlike her. I also don't spend very much time in the forest with woodland 動物 lol. I'm also not as graceful as her and I'm a pretty bad dancer.

18. If あなた could rate all of the ディズニー Princess 映画 from a percentage of 0% to 100%, what would あなた rate them all?

Hmm, this is an interesting but tough question. I'll try to be as accurate as possible.

>Cinderella: 55%
>Sleeping Beauty:72%
>The Little Mermaid: 82%
>Beauty and the Beast: 88%
>Aladdin: 95%
>Pocahontas: 70%
>Mulan: 98%
>The Princess and the Frog: 84%
>Tangled: 91%
>Brave: 70%
>Frozen: 89%
または something like that lol. I kind of just put the first percentage that came to mind for each one, I'm not even sure if they properly match up to my list. I guess these are pretty accurate though.


19. What are some of your interests outside of ディズニー Movies?

I 愛 to sing and act (I'm actually currently in a musical, Godspell) and I also 愛 to read, listen to music, and watch different types of movies. I'm a bit of a film geek in some ways and I like many genres of music, I'm currently really into classical music. I'm into 星, つ星 Wars, Marvel comics, history, different cultures, countries, and languages, and Once Upon a Time so I'm definitely nerdy lol. I'm interested in a lot of things though.

20. What do あなた think, is something ディズニー should do in the future for their movies?

I think that ディズニー should focus on making もっと見る films that are aimed もっと見る at adults and teenagers like HoND. I'd like to see もっと見る dark または serious subjects in ディズニー films and もっと見る cultural/ethnic diversity as well. I think that they should stop using the same formula that they usually use for their ディズニー Princess films and instead allow their writers to have もっと見る freedom and be もっと見る inventive. I'd like them to also make a wider variety of films. Studio Ghibli and ピクサー・アニメーション・スタジオ tend to be a bit もっと見る inventive with their stories so I'd like to see films that are different from Disney. It would also be nice if they didn't try to make everything enjoyable only for younger kids または funny all the time instead of making films that are enjoyable for all age groups, not that they aren't doing that now. Why don't they just make me the head of Disney's film department? lol.

21. What is a "mistake" that あなた think ディズニー made in the past with one of their movies, that あなた hope doesn't happen again?

With Chicken Little, ホーム on the Range, and some other films I think ディズニー focused too much on young children instead of making the films with the whole family in mind. They also have had periods when their アニメーション has been weak so I hope that they can continue to have good animation. One big mistake was completely getting rid of hand drawn animation, they should definitely bring it back, I don't mind CGI but I'd like to see some traditional アニメーション as well. Oh, and they seemed to have rushed アナと雪の女王 a lot because of all of the アニメーション mistakes and plot holes and even though it didn't really affect the film's success, I'm sure that the film could've been much better if it hadn't been rushed so I hope that they won't do that again.
Oh, and I hope that they will always focus on making the best films possible and keeping the ディズニー magic alive :)


22. Are あなた most active in this club, または are あなた もっと見る active in others?

I'm only really active on this club. I rarely check other クラブ because they aren't very active unfortunately. I did start a club, the Physical Beauty club *cough*join if あなた haven't already*wink* but it's just starting out so it isn't very active yet. I used to check other クラブ but then I realized that they were pretty dead. It's a shame that the ディズニー club is so dead.



23. Why is your お気に入り ディズニー Princess your favorite?

Oh, well, I'll try to make this answer short. ムーラン is brave, smart, selfless, and funny (I actually think that she is the funniest princess) and while she is mature she is still sort of clumsy and awkward even at the end of the film, these are all traits that I really like in characters. She stands up for what she believes in, wants to bring her family honor and save her father, and is a great example of hard work and self improvement in animated films. She does transform but she doesn't change completely, she's just a better fighter and もっと見る confident and experienced によって the end of the film. She has almost always been my お気に入り and I've always loved her movie, I guess that nostalgia also plays a part in why she's my favorite.



24. Why is your お気に入り ディズニー Prince your favorite?

I 愛 that アラジン is charming, adventurous, and kind but he's not perfect. Actually, he's quite a flawed character. He's a liar, a thief, and a trickster yet I've always found him very likable and relatable. He dreams of one 日 having a better life and when he sees the chance he takes it, I like that. Nostalgia also plays a big part in why I 愛 him. I think that he is just such a great, multi layered character, he is dreamer and a fighter, both are things that I like to see in characters. He is resourceful, a quick thinker, friendly, and funny, what's not to like? O.k. I know that he should have just told ジャスミン the truth but I also understand why he didn't, he was scared that she'd shun him and he also knew that it wouldn't have been possible for him, a streetrat, to legally marry the princess.



25. Why is your least お気に入り ディズニー Princess your least favorite?

I just don't relate much to Cinderella. She is nice and all but not very exciting. My お気に入り scenes with her are the ones where she is complaining and when she is about to hit Lucifer, why? Because she acts like a real person then and se shows some sass. Unfortunately, she's 全体, 全体的です not very interesting to me または realistic compared to the other princesses. She just seems a bit too perfect and proper for me.



26. Why is your least お気に入り ディズニー Prince your least favorite?

I'll just use a コメント that I made on a アンケート not too long ago. He's BORING. I'm getting sleepy just thinking about him and, oh too late, ...zzzzzzz. *Drowsily wakes up* Huh, what happened? Oh yeah, Charming is boring as tar and he barely appears in the film which is also a downside but Snow White's creeper of a prince appears for less time, barely speaks, and could have very well been an ax murderer searching for his 次 victim but I still like him infinitely もっと見る than Prince Boring (because I'm not sure where Charming came from because he certainly doesn't seem THAT charming). He's much better in the sequels but apparently we never count the sequels here, which is a shame because then maybe Cindy and Charming wouldn't be my least favorites.


27. Have あなた ever questioned your love/lost interest for the ディズニー Princesses, または ディズニー in general?

I ロスト interest in ディズニー a little bit during the ホーム on the Range-Chicken Little-Meet the Robinsons-Bolt period, pretty much when they were starting to use CGI only. My interest returned with Tangled. I still loved the renaissance films during that time and other ディズニー films but I hadn't been following the new releases very closely. I had kind of ロスト my faith in Disney's future, shame on me.


28. Do あなた change your opinions on the ディズニー Princesses often, または do they usually stay the same?

My lists usually change a bit over time but I rarely ever make huge changes to them. My 上, ページのトップへ 3 and my bottom 2 have stayed the same, albeit in a different order, since アナと雪の女王 was released. My general opinions on DPs don't usually change much. Sometimes I slightly change my opinions after rewatching a movie または good arguments for または against a character but nor always.



29. If あなた could choose one ディズニー Princess, one ディズニー Prince, one ディズニー Villain, and one ディズニー Heroine to be フレンズ with, who would they be?

Ooh this is so hard. The ディズニー princess would be Anna または Rapunzel. The prince would be アラジン probably. The heroine...Esmeralda, Megara, または Jane? Esmeralda, Megara, または Jane? Hmm, I guess Esmeralda. The villain would be...ugh this is so hard. Either Hades, Yzma, Maleficent, または the Evil Queen, hmm Hades is funny but kind of creepy, then again so is Yzma lol. I'll go with Maleficent, Grimhilde might be too vain to have as a friend.


30. Is there anything あなた would like to say to all the people of this club?

That あなた are all wonderful! Thank あなた for nominating me and voting for me. I hope to continue being a part of this community and contributing as much as possible. Let's all work together to make this club as fun and interesting as possible, let's keep it alive によって contributing a lot and just being around. Let's be as supportive and civil as possible. Hopefully we can all continue to 愛 ディズニー through the years even after our ファンポップ days and that the bonds we create in this club can continue for years to come as well.
