Afew days later, ムーラン finally managed to mail the letters to Pocahontas and Merida. She had been busy with Ping and making sure Shang was treated right when he got ホーム from his duties. "I'm asking あなた to give her a chance!" ムーラン replied. Shang took a deep breath. "I don't want to talk about this right now." he stated. "Why not?" ムーラン asked sarcastically. "Because あなた bring up Merida every single time!" Shang snarled angrily. "Shang, if you'd open your eyes and see what she's really made of, you-" "I don't want あなた trying to convince me otherwise, Mulan! In fact, I wish あなた guys never even met!" Shang cut off ムーラン as he vented. ムーラン ran out of the room crying.

Shang realized what he had done and ran after her. "Leave me alone, Shang!" ムーラン cried as he entered the room. "Mulan, I didn't mean to upset you." Shang 発言しました softly. "Then why did あなた just attack my friendship with Merida?" ムーラン asked. "I guess I just ロスト control of myself..." Shang answered speechless. ムーラン slowly walked up to him. "I know how serious あなた are, but just promise me you'll give Merida a chance." ムーラン weeped. Shang came to reality, put his frustration behind him, and took her in his arms. "I promise." he whispered.

Pocahontas was going into the hut with mail when she saw John fast asleep. She smiled as he lied there on the ベッド looking blissful. Being as quiet as she could, she slowly walked over によって him and sat down. He woke up as she gently ran her hand through his blonde locks. "Wingapo, sleepyhead!" Pocahontas greeted. The letter said:

Pocahontas really wanted to see her フレンズ again, but didn't want to leave her people. "I can't leave my people." she said. "It's just for afew days または so." John reassured. Pocahontas made a quick decision. "Okay, let's go!" she exclaimed. She and John smiled ear-to-ear then kissed passionately. She couldn't wait to see her フレンズ again.

Merida was cleaning her sword when Maudi came to her with a letter. "What's this?" Merida asked curiously. "This letter is from Mulan." Maudi answered. "Thank you." Merida thanked as Maudi walked off. "A couple days ago, I get a letter from Pocahontas. Now, I get a letter from Mulan. What's goin' on?" Merida speculated. But there was no time for the speculations to come into play. Merida opened the letter and read it.

The letter said:
"Dear Merida, I hope you've been doing well. Ping has been a 線, レイ of sunshine! I've invited あなた and Pocahontas to to come to China to see me, Ping, and Shang. Merida was glad to know Shang was willing to give her a chance. Then again, she didn't know what to think. She didn't know if she wanted アドバイス または a potential friendship with Shang. She suddenly bowed her head. "Is somethin' troublin' you, Lass?" Fergus asked. "Mulan has invited me to come to China and see her, but her husband absolutely hates me. What do I do?" Merida confessed. Fergus sat down 次 to his oldest child. "That Lad is VERY serious about his job, Lass. He's not like あなた または yer other friend, Pocahontas. We all have duties to fulfill, but HE has duties to fulfill every day." Fergus answered. Merida felt like she just had a reality check. "I knew he was all serious, but I never knew him like THAT." she said. "I know あなた want to be フレンズ with him, but あなた need to be patient with him too." Fergus stated. Merida saw the answer right then and there. She and Shang were going to have to give each other respect if they were to become friends. "Thanks dad!" she thanked. She and The King hugged each other.
