Most Exaggerated Attributes of the Early Renaissance Princesses

This is an 記事 expressing my opinion about some of the renaissance princesses most exaggerated attributes. I may do this for the other DP's, but I thought I'd start with the 3 that get a lot of flack. I feel that while the renaissance princesses have a lot of fans, they also have many haters. This is my opinion, and I know it's not very popular, but try not to be too negative. c:

Ariel

Ariel is known universally as being the brat among the bunch. Though, honestly, I don't see how she's that big of a brat. She has been wanting to go on land for years, and years, and when the chance arises, she takes it. People say that she abandons her duty as princess, but I don't find that true either. Ariel has six other sisters to take the thrown, so the kingdom is still left in good hands. Also, if anything, she was just impulsive and naive. I feel that people should really cut Ariel some slack, and just realize she was doing what she thought was best.

Belle

When asked what Belle's fatal flaw is, people always answer, "She's such a snob." In which I say, whaaaaaaaat? Yes she uses big words, so what? She reads, and learns big vocabulary, and then adds it into her speech..It's really not that uncommon. Also, people say that she only likes people who read. Where is the evidence of that? Just because she doesn't connect with the townspeople, doesn't mean that 読書 is the reason. Belle seems very polite and kind, and I think when people say that she's a snob, they're just trying to come up with a flaw so she's not deemed as perfect. I think that she's probably the most perfect ディズニー Princess, but if anything her that is her flaw.

Jasmine

Jasmine's in the same ボート as Ariel, nearly everyone thinks she's a spoiled brat. I actually think that she's a strong, independent woman trying to stand up for herself. She is in a situation where her dad is trying to marry her off, so she has to do something. This is my お気に入り attribute of Jasmine, she stands up for what she believes in, and tells it how it is. This isn't being a brat. Being a brat means being petty about small things, but marriage is a very important thing so I think ジャスミン has a right to stand up for herself.

Jayden-G Great article. I do agree that Ariel and Jasmine are not really brats; maybe a bit ungrateful and sometimes selfish (like most). This will be the only time I stand up for Ariel, as I do not like how she handled the situation at all, and she does sometimes get mad and worried when something she wand reaches her father. I think when people call Belle a snob is that she is an intellectual snob, and I can kind of see where they are coming from. I do think she is a bit too perfect though. Great article.

MalloMar I agree with most of the article and Jayden-G. I think the Ariel part was well written. I don't find Belle snobby at all. I think curiosity is Belle's biggest flaw, by the way. I think the Jasmine part makes sense. I wish I could be more like her. I love the pictures! dclairmont, do you think Ariel is selfish? I noticed you didn't mention that. You have a great perspective on these.

dclairmont Thanks everyone!! c: MalloMar- Hmmm....Well she is very selfless when she risks her life to save Eric, on the other hand leaving her home without even telling everyone is a tad bit selfish. As a whole I wouldn't call her selfish, but I'd say she does have moments of selfishness.

Jessikaroo As someone who is in no way a fan of Belle, I have to say that the idea she is flawless is more than a bit off. Belle's flaw is that she's always been treated like she's better than everyone, because of her beauty or her oddness, and she seems to [i]believe[/i] it. She has a haughty air of superiority which can come across as snobbery. Besides that, I agree.

In the ディズニー Franchise, Cinderella's ballgown is blue, but that was not always true (hey that rhymes).
In the 1950 film, when シンデレラ got transformed into her gown, it was white. When she looked at her reflection in the fountain, it was blue. When they needed products for this movie, some people thought the white ガウン looked too much like a wedding dress, so they watched the whole movie over and over again until they came up with something. They saw Cindy's reflection in the fountain, and thought that was a good color, thus, Cinderella's dress is now considered blue.

Like everyone else on this club I 愛ディズニー and 愛 the heroines, princesses, and damsels of ディズニー films. Each girl has their own unique qualities and are beautiful in their own way. But of course beauty in always in the eyes of the beholder. And so I decided that I will create this 記事 giving my opinion on the prettiest leading ladies of ディズニー films.

Just a reminder that this is opinion based and everyone is welcome to コメント on what they agree with または disagree with. However, please do so in a mature fashion and as much as possible no cussing.

Now that that's out of the way. Lets begin!

10: Kida, this girl is beautiful and its sad that most people don't agree. She's an awesome heroine she fights, speaks any language, and is the princess of Atlantis! She is awesome. In addition, she fell in love with the nerd and that's so cute!

9: Rapunzel she is my third お気に入り princess. She's adorable, clumsy, and super talented and probably pretty smart since she charted stars in her spare time. And she has magic hair that glows when she sings.

Her character to me is dull and boring. She wasn't smart about any thing she did. She relied on 動物 to make her dress, and she could have run away from her evil family and not had to be a servent. it's also unrealistic how she ロスト her shoe and her foot is the only one that fits the slipper. She's ok just not great.

Well, 上, ページのトップへ Ten Lists are very 人気 here – but I decided to do it a little bit different, mostly because I don’t think that there is an infinitive 一覧 for me. It’s もっと見る that I like some 映画 and characters もっと見る and some I like less. So I put the 映画 in three categories: Top, Middle and Bottom.

My Three Bottom movies:

In general, I hate 映画 with plot holes – but concerning ディズニー Princess movies, I’m much もっと見る forgiving about logical lapses in the classic ones than in the ones from the Renaissance era onwards. Not because of nostalgia, but because the premise of those movies...

Pocahontas isn't gentle, classy, girly, または romantic. シンデレラ prefers a sophisticated, calm princess, and Pocahontas leaps off of cliffs and climbs trees.
