Well, it's completely obvious that Mater does have strong feelings for Holley. He showed a few signs that he loves her in Cars 2. 1. On the plane Siddly, after looking at 'the worst engine that was ever made'(Mater 発言しました it was and he was right about that), Finn and Holley were talking about where the engine came from and how it was made in a 12 年 period with over 35,000 cars made with that engine, Mater (who was extremely turned on によって Holley's beauty) came up to Holley on his movable chair, saying that, she was purtty and so nice.
