I'm also an outcast in the human world! But in the ペンギン world, it's different. I feel sorry for Mater all of the time. But I know that that little Tow Truck will ALWAYS be apart of me.

Yes! I can relate to him. Everyone can relate to someone as innocent as Mater. I mean, look how the world viewed him in Cars 2. They viewed him as a clueless ditz. All they ever saw in him was an idiot. But if あなた go deep within Mater, you'll see that he's NO fool または NO dummy. He's the smart guy that is fooling all of those fools. That's VERY smart coming from him. Maybe he never realized that others were laughing at his foolish personality until he saw it him self right before he tried to redeem himself at the end before the ロンドン Chase. And YES! I felt very sorry for him for being an outcast but Mater is strong and a tough little guy. He can pretty much handle ANYTHING that throws at him.
