Well right now in storyline of the show.

Damon isn't in 愛 with Elena, they are
just friends.
Damon 発言しました he came to torture Stefan because
of Katherine, and Katherine is the one Damon
is in 愛 with.
He tried to free her from the tomb, but found
out she hadn't been in there at all.
