Has Twilight Ever Gotten In The Way Of Your Friendships?

OHHHH poor you!!! Don't worry あなた will be a fantastic author! I have met Twi-hards who I never knew come up and call me a 雌犬 for loving Harry Potter and my cousin also is overly obsessed. Twilight has interfered with my friendships as well.
My best friend, Heather loves Twilight and at first I was often having to put up with everything about Twilight. I was, often finding myself in a hard postition, should I break a friendship with a girl who I've known since I was seven または put up with Twilight. Heather, obviously, died down and she didn't attack me for hating something she loved. But it didn't always work out that way. My friend, Ellie loves Twilight and she got a proper tatoo down of of the Twilight 林檎, アップル on her back. She made me come when she got it down (personally it looked like the most painful experience ever.) She also got gor Taylor Laughtner's signature on her tatooed on her arm. She did that herself, because she already bought his signature from something and did some printing on her skin.
This former friend of mine, Charlotte, attacked me when I 発言しました I disliked Twilight. I didn't even critisize it, but she still attacked me. Like she jumped on me, and one) she's so much taller than me and 2) I'm super petite and she's a lot もっと見る muscular, so I broke my arm (no joke!) That's when our friendship ended. (Though, I'm still フレンズ with Ellie, because she's fine when she isn't a Twilight fanatic, but it can get to be a pain!)
My other best friend Lucy and I are the only HP ファン at the school, which is kind of sad. Twilight has played a pain in the neck part in my friendships with many people. My other フレンズ don't mind Twilight, but luckily they are not such fanatics....
Sometimes I feel like I want to pull my hair out at times... and I have tried, but I didn't actually pulled my hair out.
Twilight has also come as a blow to me. My フレンズ have often unknowingly insulted me directly, particularly Ellie, for hating Twilight. Heather has always been kind and supportive about it, but that mainly has to do with the fact that I'm her best friend and that she's mine. Sooo... yeah Twilight has gotten in the way of my friendship several times, and it still does!!!! So I know how あなた feel.

I'm so sorry, GrintCat. :( I had no idea. I can't relate totally, because I think I only have 2-3 good フレンズ at my school (I'm graduating 次 month, so I honestly don't give a damn about these people. They're retarded anyway), and they're loyal フレンズ who either think Twilight's okay または really like it but are understanding if others don't. But I don't see them too often. So I could also say I'm a lone 狼, オオカミ and 愛 writing. I haven't ロスト フレンズ because of Twilight, but I have ロスト friends. I'm so sorry for what happened to you.

I'm so sorry to read this. I really feel for you, baby. I know I'm lucky, but Twilight has never been a problem. Some of my フレンズ 愛 it and they know I don't like it, so we don't talk about it. We're friends, we have so many things in common a handful of 本 and 映画 mean nothing. It also may be due to the fact that, funnily enough, all my フレンズ who are fangirls have wonderful boyfriends, フレンズ of mine as well. They're all real guys, with real virtues and flaws, not creepy monsters of any kind and they're loved for who they are. I bet none of my フレンズ would dump them if Edward appeared out of the blue and ask them to be with him.

As for the 書く part, I know how あなた feel and Twilight has nothing to do with it. I used to be a beta reader for a friend and she would go ballistic whenever I corrected her writings. I'm not even talking about plausibility または fanfic characters being actually in character, but about things like "hey, あなた were using past tense, why did あなた change to present, then back to past if it's the same scene?". I stopped being her beta altogether, I couldn't put up with her crap. Being a beta is not saying "you rule, I 愛 it!" if あなた encounter errors. You're supposed to correct, not to disregard mistakes.

I truly hope things get better and that あなた find new, real friends. If your so-called "friends" turn their back on あなた just because of a fandom, whichever it is, they're not friends, they're just mean, childish people.

I'm so sorry for you!! i hope あなた can get クーラー less mean friends! Twilight hasn't really gotten in the way of my friendship but my friend has read the book and loves it and i hate it (i also have read the book) but whenever she talks about it i just stay out of the conversation. (or make fun of it but she gets mad at me when i do that so i don't do it often) i hope this picture will make あなた feel better!!

I haven't got a story, as I don't really have any フレンズ anymore, and the handful that I speak to every so often, aren't really interested in Twilight. But I can remember being at school, and the フレンズ I had... they were the kinds of girls that could get passionate about things (we were, at the time, passionate about a band called Busted...) and I can imagine them being like that, I think they did get like that a little over things, but somehow I always managed to stay out of the drama, while others in my group were at war! =/ ...

One of my best フレンズ is totally obsessed. She is, like your friend, 書く a story. She is the main character and is pretty much Bella. The worst thing is, she talks about the stuff that happens in her story like it has actuallyy happened. Its pretty creepy actually! lol.

I just play along with her.now what we do is I write part of her story, always ending up with Edward and her breaking up (usually becasue he turns gay for various people). She writes もっと見る so they get back togeather. Maybe あなた should try this with your friend?
She got pretty mad at me at first, but I managed to convince her to laugh it off with me. Our friendship is もっと見る important than that.

No, that has not ever happened to me. My フレンズ and I have argued about Twilight, but it hasn'r gotten in the way of our friendship...then again, it wasn't really "friends", it was もっと見る like "aquantices", but I'm getting off the point...
