I too saw the movie first and then read the book. Usually, the book is always better than the movie, または vice versa. It is very unusual for a book and a movie to be equally enjoyable. The Princess Bride makes a rare exception. The book is just as great as the movie, and it has もっと見る stuff in it than the movie does. (There is a whole chapter on Inigo and Fezzick getting to the pit of despair which is quite intense and entertaining. Unlike in the movie, where they just walk through the 木, ツリー and BOOM! They're there.) Read the Princess Bride.
i saw the movie ages 前 and then read the book years later. i dont remember the movie all that well but im pretty sure its 安全, 安全です to say: yes. possibly better since the 書く style is incredibly funny.
I think the book and the movie are equally great, so あなた definitely won't be wasting your time if あなた read it! I had to read the book for 10th grade English and it ended up being one of my お気に入り 本 ever =] [As well as the movie becoming a お気に入り too!]
