Simple question: what is THE most underrated anime, in your opinion?

Sorry if this has been asked before - I have the memory of a fish.

My choice is 宇宙 Brothers/Uchuu Kyoudai. It is such a brilliant anime, in fact it's in my 上, ページのトップへ five, and yet I practically NEVER seem to see または hear it mentioned. There is a ファンポップ club for it, but there are only thirteen fans. It's so much better than a lot of the 人気 アニメ out there, it's ridiculous. 宇宙 Brothers is funny, heartwarming, gripping and (rarest of all in anime) light-hearted without being annoyingly goofy(characters over-reacting to small things etc). Give it a try, if you're looking for something to watch - あなた wont regret it! Probably...

It's not underrated. When I searched for アニメ less than 20 episodes, Baccano was the most 人気 option. I tried watching it though...it was not very attractive.

Maybe now, but back then, when it first came out, it was dominated によって every other 人気 アニメ at the time.

Origin: Spirits of the Past. I know it's an アニメ movie but seriously there are twelve ファン 全体, 全体的です on the ファンポップ club and I barely see または hear of it anywhere. The characters might have lacked development, but they weren't annoying and the girls were actually really good examples of what girls should be in アニメ (strong commander, an average girl, an elderly wise woman and an annoying little sibling who is quite likable at times). It has great original ideas compared to some アニメ I've seen, whether they be films または アニメ series. The soundtrack is beautiful and so are the visuals. The voice 芝居 in English is pretty good, though for people who watch the Japanese dub あなた might get annoyed since that version is quite annoying at certain moments. But it does deserve much もっと見る attention than it gets.
