Full Moon wo Sagashite ! This 表示する may seem like your "cute average happy show" but its really not. it has a pretty sad premise, and while there are some cute parts the last 10 または so episodes are really dark and depressing, but the ending is really good and made me cry TT_TT I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a good romance, comedy, drama, etc. :D

Full Moon O Sagashite is a great anime, but the マンガ is just pure awesomeness. If あなた liked the アニメ あなた should read the マンガ too.
i read the マンガ actually, and while i think the マンガ art is much better, i actually preferred the anime. sure the マンガ didn't have pointless fillers like the アニメ did, but i thought the ending of the アニメ was much もっと見る sad and emotional then the happy ending in the マンガ ( even though it was very cute). and i also found it dumb that SPOILERS that in the manga, mitsuki knew the whole time that eichi was dead... but pretended she didn't.. i know they gave a reason for that, but i still found it a bit stupid... but i still 愛 both and they are one of my favorites!
^ Well, I hated in the アニメ the fact that they made Izumi a side-character, when he actually isn't in the anime. Also I did not like the fact that they did not get into the tragic pasts of all the Shinigami's (Izumi, Meroko) and changed the past of Takuto. And I liked the twist with Jonathan being actually the Boss in the manga. Still I prefer the ending of the マンガ too. X3 So, yeah I do not believe that the アニメ is better from the manga. And the same goes to another of Arina Tanemura's works "Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne". The マンガ was pure awesomeness, while the アニメ was just cute X3
^msbass I agree about izumi though.... XD .. But I totally agree about Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne! I marathoned that entire マンガ and loved it but when I tried to watch the anime... it was disappointing.. :LOL. But i 愛 Arina Tanemura, she is one of my お気に入り manga-ka's XD
^ I agree X3 From Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne I had read only the last volume and then I decided to watch the anime. When I finished it I was like were did the awesome ending of the マンガ go. The whole thing with reincarnations of Finn and Access in the end? And then I was like screw it あなた gotta buy and read all the mangas. And it was just amazing, since then I've read the series at least 3 times. I 愛 Arina Tanemura too. <3 One of my other favourites is Gentlemen's Alliance Cross. She made a typical shojo マンガ so freaking interesting with many twists and turns. <3
^ I loved Gentlemen's Alliance Cross. <3 It is definately in my 上, ページのトップへ 10 fave マンガ of all time! The story is so touching I cried a lot and the twists and turns during the マンガ were just awesome. I've read the whole series like 3 times >.<
A really underrated アニメ that I actually liked is Sekirei since the plot and characters are very unique and even though there is tons of ファン service I still like it ^^ .
As of right now, it's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I got into the series last week, it's sad that I can't seem to find any fans. The series itself may be old but it has a great plot, characters, and the 作者 has the guts to kill off it's main characters and have new ones rather than the first protag live throughout the whole series, I rarely see anyone talk about it.
My answer is Dusk Maiden Of Amnesia=) I really loved the whole serie it's basic genre is horror but it's ecchi and comedy in the first episodes when the story goes on it becomes darker and もっと見る important it's my #1 アニメ of all time(for now) but i didnt see anybody talking about it so far=\
