There isn't an アニメ club at our school, but there is one at our library. アニメ club at the としょうかん, ライブラリ is actually pretty boring. All we do is watch the same アニメ 映画 over and over again and fangirl over マンガ in little clique-y groups. xD' But I'm sure it'd be different in your school. After all, Iowan people are really boring. :3'
Basically what we do in our アニメ club is get talked to a bit and then each 日 we watch the first episode to a different anime. We are also allowed to eat and sit with our フレンズ while watching anime. It's awesome ^^
My school had one until 秒 semester of Freshman 年 but it was unorganized and lacked people so it got shut down. But I heard it was somewhat enjoyable. If I were in charge of an アニメ club I'd make it fun with theme days/weeks and we would actually have discussions about shows and maybe cosplay celebrations and stuff. I wish I could gather up my フレンズ to do it but none of them want to do it so.... =/
I find that each school has different type of アニメ clubs,considering they're not run によって the same person,so I would think many アニメ クラブ are different,but one thing is for sure they do focus and talk about アニメ マンガ and things like that,probably what the club is like is general depends on the person who's in charge of it,but I find that any アニメ club would be cool!
