Remember Afro Samurai? Neither do I. Okay, but seriously, let’s talk about Afro Samurai. Trust me, it is relevant to the game we will be discussing. Afro Samurai was a really dumb, nonsensical video game about a samurai with an afro who searches for his father’s killer and takes out all the 上, ページのトップへ samurai in the country. It’s a dumb series with large breasted samurai women, everyone has cellphones, and there’s Kanye West bears everywhere, all in feudal Japan. And yet I still liked it. And it must’ve been good enough to get an anime, a movie, and have the main character voiced によって Samual L. Jackson. But while people can either like it’s dumb world または just see it as a lame story, everyone agrees that the character デザイン によって Takashi Okazaki. If his talent was put into something greater, it could be something that everyone can enjoy. And now I introduce あなた all to something greater.

The game follows our silent protagonist, not Afro Samurai, but cannonically is named Rider. And apparently, Rider did something really bad. So bad in fact that he has been imprisoned on a planet far above the earth with multiple planets separating him from the earth. But, thanks to a mysterious man named The Stranger, または Not Kuma to some, he is able to plan his escape from the prison, and is tasked with fighting all of the bosses known as Jailers. And they are in tons of variety, from a multi masked sadist with a staff, a prisoner with a laser head, an old man who can stop time, a knight with a sword and shield, and that’s just to name a few of them. And every single one of them is a lot of fun to fight if あなた ask me.
It should be stated, but also should be clear as day, that Furi is filled with only boss fights. There are some moments where あなた walk and hear about the Jailers あなた are about to fight, before the boss fight starts. あなた have a simple set of attacks. あなた have the fast melee attacks, a charge attack, and a ranged attack that slowly chips at enemies health. From there, あなた just gotta use that, as well as dodging, to beat all of the bosses with their own unique fights to them. The boss has a ランダム amount of health, ranging from three bars to seven bars. Rider only has three, but whenever either あなた または the boss are knocked down, あなた both gain health back. If the boss knocks あなた down, it regenerates health while あなた lose a bar. If the boss is knocked down, they are a step closer to death while あなた regenerate all of your health, most of the time. It looks pretty forgiving, but that’s because it doesn’t take a lot for the bosses to fuck あなた up. Their fight styles are always changing. One minute, あなた could have their entire moveset memorized, and the 次 instant, you’ll probably lose all two bars of health to just barely survive the onslaught of their attack. Once they are down to half a bar, あなた have to close in for the kill and only use melee, dodging and blocking at just the right time to throw them off and go in for the kill. The boss fights are intense and challenging and really make this game insanely fun. And even if あなた lose, the nature of seeing their health go down makes あなた wanna go one もっと見る time. あなた got the pattern memorized, now あなた just gotta go once もっと見る and hopefully learn from your mistakes to take them down.
But the game isn’t all perfect. While the bosses are incredible, the character designs are so bizarre yet stylish and that soundtrack is a banner collection, the walking parts can be a little… iffy. It’s not terrible, the environments are nice, the 音楽 that builds up as あなた get close to the boss is a really nice touch and I am very much interested in being heard about the upcoming boss, but it’s real easy for あなた to walk in one direction only to realize you’re going the wrong way. Thankfully, あなた can set Rider to auto walk, so that makes up for it. But I think what made Furi go from a decent action game to one of my お気に入り was the ending of the game. And from here we are reaching spoiler territory, so…

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

After fighting off the final Jailer, a young girl who had no fighting ability and could only attempt to outsmart Rider, only to fail and be killed によって his hands, Rider was able to make to earth, where he could finally see what he was fighting for. And once he touched the earth, it all made perfect sense. Suddenly, あなた realize that the Jailers keeping Rider up in that prison was for a good cause. Cause once Rider takes his first step, the earth around him starts to wilt and die. 草 burns to ashes, the waters boil, and the sky becomes a dark 雲, クラウド overhead. And all Rider can do is try to find out why his existence only brings death and if there is any salvation for him, which is why he takes off to 宇宙 and finds his creator, The Star, waiting for him, and preparing to invade the planet with his permission. Rider can accept and let the planet be invaded によって his kind, または he can refuse, and go against his creator, and give himself something to fight for. This results in the most bullet hell esque boss in the game, and it is pretty damn fun. And this final part of the game alone made the purchase all the もっと見る worth it in my eyes.

(END OF SPOILERS)

Furi is a game that I can’t recommend enough to action game fans. It’s a nonstop set of insane combat and amazing 音楽 all the way through. I don’t know what the company has in store for the future, aside from a few awesome DLC with even もっと見る bosses included, but hopefully they got something in store for the future.

So I just got done watching a pretty darn 人気 アニメ named "The Familiar Of Zero". (Well, it was only season one, but yeah. It had an ending and all that, so I'm not really cheating here.)

And this anime....... I 愛 it. Honestly. From the 秒 I started episode one I knew this was going to be awesome, and it mostly was! BUT I do have a few complaints with it.........

And によって a "Few" I mean A GODDAMN TRILLION.

Welcome to my new series ランダム Rants! Where I nitpick the mother-living hell out of whatever I so damn desire. Sound good to you? IT FUCKING BETTER.

So although I really do think The...

When it comes to horror anime, they seem to be some of the もっと見る mature アニメ out there. As much flak horror gets in general for just being a disgusting and barbaric genre, seen as only catering to violent psychopaths, horror anime, at least the ones that I have seen, seem to handle their horror maturely. From the psychological break-down of our protagonist in Parasyte, to the symbolism and philosophy of Monster. Even Highschool of the Dead can come up with some relatable characters... あなた know, when they aren't having jiggle physics. And with 日本 treating their audience もっと見る maturely, it's...

Alright, so for the past few days, the video games that I’ve talked about were pretty tame. Not bad, just not the sort of thing you’d expect. When あなた read my articles, あなた expect constant nightmares coming right at your face, disturbing imagery, haunting monsters, and just in general something that would drive a person crazy with fear. Not depressing stuff or… whatever the hell Condemned’s story was trying to tell. And don’t get me started on the 12 Days of Christmassacre. I liked those reviews, but I think I’d like to talk about something that is a true nightmare, in a good way....

Now, what are games made for? Entertainment. And if a game is not entertaining, then there is no point for the game to EVER exist. However, some game developers do not know this, and instead make their games as boring as possible. So, today, I am going to talk about the games that bore me the most. Now, these are only going to be games that I have played, so no Desert Bus. Now, with that said, lets start the list

Oh boy, am I excited to talk about today’s game. バッタ Manufacturing is probably one of my お気に入り game studios out there. Sure, they don’t make the highest quality games, but their desire to make what they want to make rather than what some publisher wants them to is inspirational, and it’s that desire to create what they want to that has helped allow indie game developers to thrive in the modern age. One of their first games to truly reach a cult status was Killer7. Created as part of the Capcom Five, it was part of five games published and/or developed によって Capcom to be exclusives...
